- Visiting my local Guitar Center in Fountain Valley, California. A walk through all the Depts. Been shopping at GC since the 80's when they were in Santa Ana location. The thrill isn't quite as exciting as it was then but always good times here to say the least.
back in the day the fountain valley location had ALL the cool stuff. I've bought 2 guitars from them even when I worked at 451 in OKC. I used to creep their used inventory long before it was listed online by pulling reports in management weekly.
They're box movers, but they've got common essentials.
I don't know what happened to Guitar Center in Concord California. That store is a mess. There was only two people working there and they did not know how to get the cash register open the computers were down finally the manager had to come and get the drawer open and then she left again. And the store looks like it has not been vacuumed in a long time. Sorry to say I will not be going to Concord California Guitar Center ever again. I do not recommend guitar service at this location. It's like a slow train wreck. Used to be a nice place to go to check out guitars and stuff but not anymore.
I recently spent two and a half months in LA. While there I went to the store on Pico, and the one on Sunset. I was disappointed with them both, not because of their inventory but because most of the people I dealt with were real douchebags. The store on Sunset supposedly shipped an acoustic and gig bag I bought there to my home state and when the box arrived it was empty. I've been home now for two months and I'm still waiting for the gig bag. They'll take your money right away but service after the sale is non existent. I had to call them repeatedly to get them to follow through. Totally incompetent. Do yourselves a favor and shop at Sweetwater.
GC is not what it used to be and unfortunately they are the only actual stores beside Sam Ash Music that we can go to. I love Sweetwater and there's PRO's and Con's buying online. Thanks for watching
The store looks pretty dead the average price a lot of people cannot afford I've been just I'm trying to guitar centers in my day and it's just a warehouse they don't have service it's just too sterile of an environment there's no creativity there but thanks for showing us what the video looks like in California
It was early but yeah, it’s not like the old days
so expensive Gibson reissues and 0 acoustics got it.
Gibson is always expensive lol
