I don't really imagine how you cannot like this song, I mean, I can somehow understand why people love other songs and identify something that pleases everyone, but this is a masterpiece and no one cares, feels bad. Sonny Etchell Yeah, I have been practicing this song since last year to sing it in the singing competition this year and I almost cried on stage when I was singing it because the competition was 2 days after his death! Damn... So I dedicated it to him as a legend that saved my life from suicide and self-abuse. Rest in Peace Chester, you saved millions of lives and we wished we could save you too in return...

I was actually struggling and fighting myself from tears when singing it, that's why it was so hard for me to sing it after knowing about Chester's tragedy...

I agree with you. Popularity is not the same to quality; always say the best band is The Beatles/Queen or another old famous band. I know people usually say their one of the greatest bands of this century, but in a tier list of greatest rock bands they are put out of the top 10th. This band saved millions of people, changed nu metal, and they have a lot of genres. From nu metal, to alternative rock, to hard rock, to pop. And they had some influences from EDM music as well. In my opinion, In My Remains is one of Linkin Park's best songs, besides that this song is also very comfortable to the ear with rock music which has lots of electronic elements in it. This song means someone who lives incompletely, there are parts that disappear and are buried in ruins. In silence he let the bad things inside him disappear along with the waiting that never came to fruition.
It's one of my favourite songs by them. Truthfully speaking most of the album is in my top 10. Most people say that Hybrid theory is the goat, others Meteora, for me is Living things

I relate to this song on such a personal level. Its a both painful and comforting song, as i feel like i am not alone in this suffering, but also saddened by the hopelessness and struggle it portrays. Plus knowing someone else feeling such pain is a bit saddening.

My favorite is Meteora
My favorite is unequivocally Meteora, but Living Things was the first album of theirs I listened to in bulk so it holds a special place in my heart. It sounds like a perfect mashup of Minutes to Midnight and A Thousand Suns. A very underrated album imo

It means to me, that's the moment when the ways you cope with depression starting to lose strenght. Every hobbie, friend, travel, driking, working, everthing... Starting to lose taste. Starting to feel like nothing. And just gets worse everytime a new bad thing show up. Like an army, falling, one by one, by one... Everything that make you feel alive suddely doesnt make you happy anymore.
