Great review, and I agree with everything you said. I've had this mouse for about 4 months, and despite all the positive aspects it has (shape, color, sensor, main optical switches, side switches, scroll wheel), there are a few things I'd like to see improved in future versions of the XFnatic Thorn. First: Sometimes the cursor freezes on the screen, and the only solution is to unplug the cable from the 4K dongle and plug it back in. It's not a problem, but if you're in a game, in my case CS2, it can be quite inconvenient. I called LAMZU, and they told me they'd send a new 4K dongle. Second: If I hit the mouse a bit harder on the table, it sometimes registers a click, meaning it doesn't have slam-click protection. This can be easily fixed with Debounce time, and I've set it to 1ms, and now it works fine. Third: The battery life in 4K mode. I'm not sure if it can even last a day. However, the mouse charges really quickly, but it's like having a car with a small fuel tank. You might say it fills up quickly, but it also empties fast. And the last thing I don't like is the bottom of the mouse, which is open, allowing dust to get in. This has been resolved with a sticker, but now the mouse looks unprofessional and cheap from the bottom. The mouse should have a closed bottom, as this isn't something a serious professional mouse should have. Still, despite everything mentioned, this is the best ergonomic mouse on the market as far as I'm concerned. Despite these issues, I love it and enjoy using it. Best regards.
Thanks alot for this review. Simple yet very comprehensive. Was planning to get this mouse for a while & have finally decided to go with it after watching this video. Cheers mate
The thorn is such a nice looking mouse. I do personally prefer the Outset AX from Vaxee shapewise but the thorn is still a top contender!! I’d love to see more team collaborations with peripherals too
I have the lamzu maya but feel like bigger skates would be better for me (I prefer control) do you think that the bigger skates on a superlight would be better or those found on the Atlantis? Thank you!
Most of the weight reduction of Lamzu mice happens in the bottom where the skates are placed. I think the skates of the thorn, maya, and superlight, when we talk about their size, all of them are fine.
If you guys use the mouse for more than 12 hours then yes, any mouse’ battery life is hit hardly. Though yes Lamzu mice have a weaker capacity, just based on price you eventually will realize that low prices equal weaker internal quality. Though I have to add, switches and buttons in general are 100% better than GPX 2 which is absurd because 1 GPX 2 has the same price for 2 Lamzu Thorns which downgrades its quality by a lot.

It is! Great choice

This collaboration is really unique, it’s good to see a different mouse other than black or white
Nice review! We use the same mic :D great choice, i love my seiren v3
It’s a nice mic, the cable that came in the box is too small for me, so I’m using a different one. Thanks for stepping by 🙏🏻
