Which iPad d you have or are you getting? The 2020 iPad lineup is easily the best iPad lineup ever. In this video I compare all iPads for 2020 and show you everything from a camera comparison to performance differences and much more. Thanks for watching!
I have a 2017 IPad Pro 12.9” but my brother just got me a refurbished 2018 IPad Pro 11” 512GB a couple weeks ago because it was a little more than the 2020 IPad Pro with only 128GB. I love it!
I am a nursing student and I already have a MacBook, so I just wanted to have an iPad for note taking. I also prefer to use digital textbooks because they are cheaper, so I use my iPad for that as well. I just purchased the iPad Air (3rd gen - 2019) & I am satisfied. I didn’t want to get the pro since I already have a MacBook, and I didn’t want to spend that kind of money. So I went with the next best thing, the Air. I also love drawing as a hobby which is another reason I chose the Air. I like the laminated screen for drawing.
Picked up the 12.9” iPad Pro 1TB with pencil and magic keyboard for my business and I couldn’t be happier. When it’s not being used for our POS system it’s perfect for my employees to use while troubleshooting or following a guide
Country Lifestyle I’d say yes but you may want to go for the 11” as the 12.9 can be a bit on the heavy side. Both screens will be a massive upgrade. I’m not exactly sure what this person uses their device for so the iPad Pro may be a bit overkill depending on the application. Although overkill is always better then not having enough in performance, resolution etc.
I have the iPad Mini and Air from 2019. The Air 3 replaced my beloved Air 2. I brought the Mini just to have something more portable but i'm finding i use it at home more than i expected because it's so thin and light.
warren gaskin Same experience here with the mini. Love my 2019 mini. I had three Kindle Fires in the last while and none lived past 9 months. One died two days before the end of the warranty!
I’ve had the 2018 iPad Pro 12.9” since the day it came out for preorder. It’s probably the best Apple device I’ve ever owned. I don’t use it as a computer, rather just for media consumption (yes I know it’s not ideal to buy an iPad Pro just for media consumption but I just like the latest iPad technology). I think for people considering the 2020 iPad Pro, you may want to save yourself some money and get a refurbished 2018 iPad Pro because the only real difference is the LIDAR sensor and the ultra wide camera. If you don’t use your iPad as a camera and you don’t use augmented reality (which I would assume most people don’t do either of these), it’s really not worth getting the 2020 iPad Pro in my opinion - you should just save some money and get the 2018 one. The fact that the 2018 and 2020 iPad Pro are so similar just shows how ahead of its time the 2018 iPad Pro was when it came out (and still is). I still love my iPad Pro and use it for several hours every single day. If I were to give bad thing about it, I’d say the aluminium is very soft and I have dented the side of it after it only lightly bumped on my desk, and also display scratches quite easily in my experience and I don’t really like screen protectors. Other than that, the best way the iPad can become better these days is just software. Final cut for iPad come on! Also thanks Aaron for this detailed comparison!
Absolutely love the this format of just sitting down with one camera shot and walking down the models. It makes me feel i am right there and testing them.
Fantastic! I've been totally struggling to understand these Apple's lineup of iPads, this one video put it to rest ! Thank you! The way you stacked up the entire range side by side is very easy to comprehend the details! I think by this style you took just half the time to explain! Big help! and I'm up to speed now!
I'm replacing my 2nd Gen iPad Mini with the newest Mini for my Birthday next week. I love the size and portability of the Mini, and it does just what I need it to do -- I just need an upgrade for better functionality and app support.

Great review Aaron. I own an iPad 2018 with the apple pencil for Med school, and i completely agree. I don't see any reason, unless you have the budget, to purchase the Pros, even though they're amazing pieces of hardware
i want a pro so bad but all i need it for is to take notes and watch youtube. So i cant really justify spending close to a grand including apple pencil haha. Might just get the next best thing which is the air
Have the iPad Air 2 too and got myself the pro. It’s so cool to finally have a bigger iPad ... anyways I’d love to have the mini too because of the small size... for me it’d be the perfect reading size and you can easy put it in the bag
Dude. This was simply amazing! And what a great idea to have the actual pads out side by side the whole time, plus the different specs right above several times during rhe video. A++++++
I’ve had them all and either sold or returned them except the mini. It’s fantastic and yes I have an iPhone pro max but still doesn’t compare. Super easy to hold and type and great for casual browsing and games.
Well done, Aaron! I gave away my iPad Air 3 to a pastor doing mission work. I, recently, bout the previous iPad Pro for work which didn't fit with my Mavic Air drone mount so I, a few weeks ago, bought the iPad. They are all good tablets, in my estimation - I can't attest to the mini as I've never tried it. As always, love the videos! :)
Great Video. Spent 90 minutes with Apple yesterday and this was 100 times better. Getting the Air because I want more memory for photos and videos. 256 versus 128. Might want to add that comment at the end of your video. My only reason for getting the Air over the iPad 7th generation. THANKS, THANKS, THANKS.
I had to revisit this video because I’m now ready to upgrade from my 2010 iPad Pro. Thanks to you, I’ve made up my mind to go with the 12.9 iPad Pro (256 gb). I’ve also purchased the new magic keyboard and 2nd gen. Apple Pencil. Thanks again very this very insightful video... as all of your vids are. 👍🏾👍🏾
I just got the 11" Ipad Pro (2020), I think it´s really the best Ipad to get (When You can afford it). It´s slightly nicer in every aspect than the others, but also not too big like the 12.9" model.
Thank you. 🥇best comparison by Far! Thank you for showing the iPads while talking verses yourself. Slightly easier to follow when doing so 👍🏻 front facing camera was great information also.

I had the Mini 5 for a week and decided for the price and size it wasn’t worth the cost. Last week I got the 7th gen iPad on sale at BB for $249.00. For the price, it’s great! Yes I notice the non-laminated screen, but for just reading, browsing, and looking at photos and videos from iCloud- I’m good! 🙌🏻
@@itsrabeha9886 yeah! Depends on what you're gonna use it for. I actually went ahead and brought iPad 7th gen. II needed it just for reading PDFs and watching TH-cam. It's great so far and I'm glad I saved a lot of money. Size is perfect too 👌
Hello! Thanx to your video I was able to buy from Apple the IPad best for me regarding cost. I’m on disability so money is a huge issue. However, I watched your video very close. I chose the IPad for 399 128G. I wanted the pro of course but I had to get the cheapest. That’s ok though because between the new IPad I ordered and my IPhone 11 I can use both and it will be great. I’m a nerd and that’s ok. I wish I could get all of the tech I wanted. I would get top of the line stuff lol. However, thanx to you I’m pleased with my purchase and can’t wait to get it next week. I always learn something new from your vids!! Thank you!
I was thinking about getting an iPad Pro but I don’t do anything extra professional to justify paying more money for an extra amount of speakers, better display and a usb port. The iPad Air does everything I need it to! I’m happy. Planning to keep it for as long as it gets software or if it breaks.
I am a 75 year old lady. I have the Air mini and have head it for 3 years. It takes a very long time to fully charge and then goes away so quickly. I use it to play games, to search internet, handle my emails, pay bills and have been very happy with it. I bought the one I have at ATT store. It was a promotion to use when getting another phone. My question I have is if I buy it on Amazon or WalMart can I open it and connect to my WiFi and start using it immediately.
I have the 2019 iPad Air and love it , was looking to a tablet for my wife for xmass and was going between the iPad mini 5 and the Samsung tab s6 lite which the in-laws have and did notice a lot of people complaining about the laggy ness when having to many apps open on the 6s lite ( like 6 or more apps open ) and never noticed any lagging on my iPad Air 2019 no matter how many apps opened and not to mention the tab 6 lite not being able to play certain games like fort nite very well when the iPad mini can with no issues! Your video made it an even easier choice with the mini and u were very thorough and lol did not know my iPad Air (2019) had the pogo pins on it!! Lol. Keep up with the videos and being good with the reviews!!
I’m a sucker for the mini. I’ve had the iPad 2, iPad Mini, iPad Mini 2, iPad 2018. Traded the 9.7” for the Mini 5 and am totally happy with it. It’s convenient hold, better for gaming. Easily my favorite device. Hopefully this lasts me a long time and Apple has something similar in size when it’s time for a new one.
Thanks, that was a very informative video. I've been debating buying an iPad for some time now. I've been leaning towards the regular iPad because it seems to be the best value for money. However, I didn't know it doesn't have a laminated screen until seeing this video. That seems like quite a negative for me since I'd like to use the iPad for drawing. That space gap between the LCD and the cover glass isn't an attractive feature if you're doing a lot of precise drawing. Looks like I should give the Air more consideration.
Great information. Really detailed and informative. I learned so much and now I feel very confident when ready to purchase a new iPad. Thank you for your time in putting this video together. Very helpful!
Today, I got the iPad Air 3rd Gen! Best balance , value/performance! Also,I got the keyboard case! iPad is really cool. I ordered a cover with backlit from EBay!
I wanted to buy the iPad Air 3 but there is no stock anywhere. Even the online sellers do not have stock except for the iPad 10.2". Im from the Philippines btw.
Sandra Rhymer you can use ipad air for the bigger & better screen. (I assume you have some minor vision issues). Or ipad pro if you want the best in everything
I’ve decided on the 11” iPad Pro as the one I plan on getting, depending on if Apple decides to upgrade if this year or not. Thanks for the informative video. 📱🖥
Just bought the iPad 7th generation and this is a huge upgrade for me as I was previously using a Huawei MediaPad. I was considering the iPad Pro, but after purchasing the iPhone 11 Pro, I regretted spending the extra money when the iPhone 11 was all I really needed. I was worried that might also be the case with the iPad.
If I were to get one I’d get the iPad with 128Gb. I don’t have a real need for a tablet having a iMac and 13” MBP. I also have a Fire Tablet which I only use for reading online books. Once the wife get’s excepted to Medical School she has thought about getting the 11” iPad Pro. As always thanks for your excellent videos!!! Stay safe.
I’m just using the 10.2 cellular with Apple Pencil and Apple keyboard folio. Picked up a Magic Mouse two which runs great. All for around the price of the iPad Pro. I can pair my Xbox one controller to play games too. It’s everything i want and need at a great price. I use this more than my MacBook Air.
I’ve had the 2018 iPad Pro 11 since it came out. One thing I’ve noticed is that Apple’s stock Notes app is not very responsive when it comes to writing or drawing with the Apple Pencil. I’ve used Notability and Good Notes and both are much more responsive and fluid when writing and/or drawing. I’m not sure why this is the case, you would think it would be the opposite. Just an observation from a regular user.

I am very Ok with my iPad 7 gen,128gb cost $325. No complaint at all.
I already own the iPad 7th gen and I'm happy with it
I got the 7th generation iPad 2019 it’s amazing I love it
Does netflix app work on your iPad
abdul khaliq akhtar yes it does
In trying to reason myself not to spend extra for an air. Do you think it can handle minor video editing?
Is it fine if I choose
to keep my kidney.
this made me cackle lmao
Aditya Patel lol iPad 7 doesn’t cost a kidney. But the iPad Pro needs two kidneys
😅🤣🤣
If you sell your kidney you can buy the most expensive model every year for atleast a decade
@@vincentlouisebeltran7082 True but unfortunately I spent everything on one apple stand.
The Air 3!!!
I’ve got the iPad Mini and iPad Pro 12.9. The iPad Mini is probably the best iPad of them all.
Which can you use as a computer to bank, email and watch video. I’m 78 and computers are hard for me
Sandra Rhymer you can use ipad air for the bigger & better screen.
(I assume you have some minor vision issues).
Or ipad pro if you want the best in everything
Thanks for a detailed professional review
I’ve decided on the 11” iPad Pro as the one I plan on getting, depending on if Apple decides to upgrade if this year or not. Thanks for the informative video. 📱🖥
Lot of effort put into making this video. Great job mate !
Watching this from iPad mini 5th Generation 👌
How its battery life, its really good?
@@mauricioflores3732 yess it's amazing
Watching from my iPad 9.7 5th Gen
Mini 5 gang! Please stand up
Just bought the iPad 7th generation and this is a huge upgrade for me as I was previously using a Huawei MediaPad. I was considering the iPad Pro, but after purchasing the iPhone 11 Pro, I regretted spending the extra money when the iPhone 11 was all I really needed. I was worried that might also be the case with the iPad.
You had to suffer through the media pad damn.
Ripp3r Jac haha at the time I didn’t know any better
This is a great help. Planning to buy an iPad just to play games like PUBG and some browsing.
I just bought the iPad mini and I love it!
Fathima what model of ipad mini please?
I agree with the regular iPad because I don’t care about the anti reflective display or the apple pencil and they are all great devices.
I do have the iPad Pro 11” 2020. My first Pro.
I’m perfectly happy with my iPad Pro 11 inch from 2018. I’m not upgrading for a few more years.
oH YEAH YEAH
If I were to get one I’d get the iPad with 128Gb. I don’t have a real need for a tablet having a iMac and 13” MBP. I also have a Fire Tablet which I only use for reading online books. Once the wife get’s excepted to Medical School she has thought about getting the 11” iPad Pro. As always thanks for your excellent videos!!! Stay safe.
I bought a mini, it’s cheap, has I need, and has a big enough screen for me to draw on plus my Apple Pencil works on it
I like the iPad Pro 11; I just gotten it for my upcoming birthday 6/11/2020. I enjoyed the video Thanks
I still use my iPad mini 2 everyday for TH-cam and Netflix
I just bought the iPad air bc I felt like it was the best for me and I still think so 👀
Got an iPad Air 4. Love it! It’s stunning 😍
Your review was very thorough and helpful!
I’m absolutely loving my IPad Pro 12.9 inch 2020😍
Mainly got it to use for university so the larger screen size is really beneficial 🥰
This was really helpful! Been looking at getting an iPad to replace my Chromebook. Think the Air 3 will be perfect for me.
That is a wonderful video .. i was planning to buy a ipad and this was very very helpful. thanks Aaron
The video that I was waiting the most . Superb video
Went from iPad 4 to iPad Air 3. Awesome upgrade.
This video is so well done. Clear and detailed, but succinct. Thanks!
Of course, the Pro. Better display, Better speakers, Faster, and future proof design 👍🏼😀
Thanks Aaron. Fantastic review. I went with the Air.
Great video. Thanks for all the information, presented in a way us “newbies” can relate to!
For me the mini is the perfect size, it's very light and nice to carry around. The battery life is not bad at all.
