No way! I played this years EDC LV! Im from York, UK. ive been watching your videos for ages and wish i knew you were there. Would have loved to bring you about the artist area.
The Kandy kid thing started in Sheffield, UK off all places. Just down the road from you guys. There was a club called Gatecrasher that was huge on the trance scene and had a group called the Crasher Kids that used to rave there in the late 90s. If you Google pictures you'll see lots of bright colours, bracelets and 'cyber wear". As the dance scene has grown in the US in recent years they've modified it to the whole PLUR trading thing. The 90s and 2000s.were a great time to be into dance music in the UK.
They missed out on most of the days due to fatigue caused by poor planning. We sleep at 7 am and wake up at 3 pm. It’s like being in the New Zealand time zone. This isn't your average concert. It's amazing to see the high-level production and lights throughout the night, as opposed to festivals that take place during half the daytime.
Yep, I wasn't in the festival grounds until 8-9pm each day. Stayed till 5-6am each night. Incredible festival but you need to know what you're getting into.
we did a good amount of research and planning - we always do, infact we can't afford not to. just not ENOUGH lol. we always consult the communities and the people who know best but didn't pick up a few key tips (p.s. it's my birthday today)
I agree they missed 90% of what EDCLV actually has to offer, but fuck that they went hard when they could and kept the vibe right the whole weekend. Do I wish they had experienced EDCLV like me.. of course. But they tried. They should have done a hotel and shuttles. Americans don't need to broaden our perspectives, you just need to not start drinking the moment you wake up not puss out at 11pm.
Not always easy to sleep when it's so noisy and bright in the camping area. I remember first year EDC had camping that the air conditioning constantly was dying which was terrible if you were camping. Hopefully it's more reliable now.

Excellent video! I had a blast at EDC 2024! My group and I had a hotel room at Downtown Las Vegas and bought GA+ and Premiere shuttle passes. The GA+ experience was worth it IMO because the bathrooms were air conditioned and lines were very short at most stages. What an incredible video this was the vibes were high in this one and I was shocked that you didn’t enjoy it as it looked like you had such a good time! But thank you for the real explanation at the end! Really loved this video one of my fave parts was Rob explaining how he keeps flip flopping from going to bed or going over here, but he was over there and his comment oh yeah I’m over here bitch!! So funny you guys make me howl! All the love guys!

Omg same! Didn’t come to the scene until I was 43…. This was my 6th EDCLV in a row. I’m 50 now and moved to the Bay Area just to be closer to it. I am so hooked 💫
That’s the most wholesome festival you’ve ever been to. That’s why it was great. America is great, I spent 3 months living and working in Vegas. My favourite city in the world. Why? The people. Everyone is amazing. That’s why EDC is great. The people. Like literally, the absolute BEST people. I need to go back!
I stumbled on your guys’ page and absolutely love your content. You all seem like a group of lads who know how to have a great time and watching your videos makes me feel like I’m a part of it. I never been to the UK but when I go I hope to meet people like you guys. Thanks for taking us on your EDC journey! It was my first one too!
A tip for the boys. Liquid IV is great and it has helped my through some Vegas trips in my late 30’s but recently I found the Prime brand and even grocery store branded hydration powders are just as good for 1/3 of the price. Liquid iv is so expensive! I like the energy multiplier though. Keeps me awake
Man I left England and moved overseas when I was 12 and never got a group of british friends to do crazy shit like this with. I feel like I get to live it vicariously through you guys, and I really appreciate that. Love every video my dudes, hope it never ends 🫶🏼
You guys are bloooody legends, keep up the good work I love your open minds to go to the other side of festivals and try the electronic side. Similar myself but the opposite to you folks so appreciate seeing the other side of the fences view and appreciation
We went to EDC Las Vegas 2016. Squeezed it like a sponge. Best time ever. RL Grime killed it. Basspod rocks. Here’s our vibe: Stay in town in Hotel across the street from Shuttle site. Sleep well rested and showered. Eat full meals Shuttle to EDC at Dusk 9pm Stay till sun comes up. Shuttle back to Hotel Repeat THE PEOPLE are always the best part!
@@TPD yaaa there's another one called Shambhala in Canada, even canadians/americans make the same mistake when they search it in google. But it's Canada's best hidden treasure and you boys gotta check it out! Best EDM lineup, best sound system, best vibes honestly the nicest people in the entire world... you will not find better vibes at any other festival, trust me boys! You don't even know... it's on this guys farm, better than EDC, argueably better than Tomorrowland/Boomtown, and did I say good lineup? Ya, definitely do the mission to check out Shambs next year, it's truly an amazing one. DJ mag guys awarded it as the best festival in North America, and I believe they're right
I appreciate you guys for doing this since this is my one festival a year. Take a few years away and come back with those stickers, a solid hotel, a shuttle pass, and with lessons you learned from this one. Even if you never come back you have a new fan!
Another amazing video boys! Love seeing festivals that are different genres and if it’s worth it when you’re not super into the music, one of my favourite videos this year!
After finishing this video. Thanks for going to one of my favourite festivals, in the states. I came to the conclusion, that you have one bad habit you keep doing and didn't do EDC correctly. 1st off) To end that bad habit, you guys keep on doing. You're supposed to walk the festival, to get an idea of it's layout and see where everything is at. Makes it easier cause opening artists, are not always something you're there to see. 2) Always carry a CamelBak style back back to any Insomniac Event festivals. That's how you stay hydrated and refill your CamelBak, when you first get there. 3) Don't ever stick to one stage. Don't ever stay on the MainStage. You'll easily get bored. Go explore the festival and those other stages. It's a huge festival, with so much to see. 3) It's EDC Las Vegas. You won't sleep the average amount of time of 8 hours. You're honestly fine with 4 hours a day, of sleep. 4) It's not as hot as you assumed, in Vegas. It was decent. When EDC used to take place in June, in Vegas. It was too hot, in the day and at night. 5) You're in the middle of nowhere in Vegas. You're known to never have Any good phone signal. That's what the ferris wheel is for. 6) You missed Sullivan King, playing the guitar and singing on stage. During his Dubstep set. You also missed Kayzo's set, which involved a lot of live drums. 7) Have Fun.
So glad the guys got to experience EDC, went for the first time in 2021 and haven’t stopped since. The energy, the community, the love (almost) everything about EDC is so amazing.
Dear TPD Team. I follow you guys for 1 and a half year now and i want to say: Thank you guys so much for the content ❤️ it feels like i’m part of it. Again THANK YOU. ❤️
I met people at Tomorrowland festival who had been. They said Tomorrowland was way better and they’d never go back to EDC. This video confirms that. Great video guys!
@@evelynnnyt to Tomorrow land? Yeah, I went in 2019. It was expensive but worth every penny. We stayed in the pre made tents. They come with everything, even a torch and mirror so you definitely get your monies worth and the festival site it’s self is incredible.
I'm in love with this channel, these reviews mean the world for some of us who would never get to experience this because of money or other limitations. Thank you so much. You made me feel like I was there with you guys. I love you all.
What a crazy small world, we were camping in the pod right behind you guys! We covered our tent in the reflective Tarp and that really helped cool it down is bit. The dessert heat is a killer. I hope you'll enjoyed EDC!
This is one of if not the best vlogs about a fest I've ever seen! I can't believe y'all got me to watch this whole thing 😆 the chemistry & brotherhood you guys share definitely makes the video what it is. Much love from the US!
Excellent content! Your video just popped up on my feed so I had to check it out to help me with my post edc blues. I go to edc from South Dakota and it’s definitely a marathon but I will never ever camp. Although it’s a bit more work to stay at hotel and catch a shuttle, it has way more perks and is cheaper. IF you all decide to go again, definitely try the hotel and shuttles! You scored a new fan from this video!
You guys are just doing it all wrong.. who leaves EDC and goes back to camp at 3am… where is the sunrise set? You guys are not listening to the right DJ’s. Clearly didn’t do your homework before heading to EDC. Knowing which DJ to listen to.
I'm only 4 minutes in but can relate SO HARD. My campsite was one of the furthest from the entrance, and there were NO signs directing us. We asked a worker and he sent us in the complete opposite direction. Walking with all of your luggage in that heat is no joke. I had a heat stroke and felt the symptoms of it until night 2. It was still the best experience of my life though. This festival is unreal. Had to edit this as I watched: - The day 1 heat was no joke. The hottest of the days, it was grueling -We also didnt bring our vodka in the first time, and did the same exact thing you guys did to sneak it in lol -After we got back from sneaking the alcohol in, i litterally collapsed on the ground exactly as you did

I simply love your channel. Never stop making these vids. Please and thanks.
With love,
Pete
12:08 the ADR from Rob caught me so off guard 🤣 Props to Rob for putting in the extra effort to create yet another banger video though! ♥
Hahaha that had me rolling
What an incredible video this was the vibes were high in this one and I was shocked that you didn’t enjoy it as it looked like you had such a good time! But thank you for the real explanation at the end! Really loved this video one of my fave parts was Rob explaining how he keeps flip flopping from going to bed or going over here, but he was over there and his comment oh yeah I’m over here bitch!! So funny you guys make me howl! All the love guys!
thanks so much! really love that you mentioned it looked that we had a blast. i was confused editing it. on site we were having a shit time, but in the edit i had to rethink my experience!
I hope you enjoyed EDC. I am 40 and this year was my 9th year in a row of EDCLV. I am hooked for life.
It is the literally one of the best places to go in the world and be with your best friends partying sun down to sun up.
i love that. keep going!
I need to go back!
yeah people are totally amazing, love these peopl
Such a well put together video you never let us down. They truly are superb and I hope you get to 200k subs minimum as you all deserve it
thank you so very much!
Really liked the how we got here logistics stuff around 18mins.
I stumbled on your guys’ page and absolutely love your content. You all seem like a group of lads who know how to have a great time and watching your videos makes me feel like I’m a part of it. I never been to the UK but when I go I hope to meet people like you guys. Thanks for taking us on your EDC journey! It was my first one too!
thanks so much! thrilled to have u on board mate!
This episode was my favourite from you for a while! Hilarious from start to finish
love that! thanks so much!!
I got 12 minutes in and by the swimming pool bit, I just had to drop that like. Looks like such a good craic
legend!!
Choccys Sunflower was incrèdible.
No ice on the bottom, the ice cold water will drip down cresting a polar jacket for the underneath of the can.
it was DEAD! and yeah we've ben told!
I'm a new executive producer, glad to be on board.
thank you SO much for being here and supporting us
Never seen your channel but I love EDM and this video is so dope!! Next year will be my first EDC so thanks for this vid !!
Loved the video dude, awesome tips and info about Las Vegas EDC. Can't wait to visit there.
Spark a J and watch TPD TV on a sunday. what a time to be alive
21:08 Harvey's first EDC
JESUS CHRIST 😂
hahaha he's here! ribbit
I used the Emergen-C brand for Sick New World last year. It really helped.
Man I left England and moved overseas when I was 12 and never got a group of british friends to do crazy shit like this with. I feel like I get to live it vicariously through you guys, and I really appreciate that. Love every video my dudes, hope it never ends 🫶🏼
glad to have you as a part of the crew!
(p.s. it's my birthday today)
@@TPD HAPPY BIRTHDAY
Hope you had a killer day my dude
You guys are bloooody legends, keep up the good work I love your open minds to go to the other side of festivals and try the electronic side. Similar myself but the opposite to you folks so appreciate seeing the other side of the fences view and appreciation
We went to EDC Las Vegas 2016. Squeezed it like a sponge. Best time ever. RL Grime killed it. Basspod rocks.
Here’s our vibe:
Stay in town in Hotel across the street from Shuttle site.
Sleep well rested and showered.
Eat full meals
Shuttle to EDC at Dusk 9pm
Stay till sun comes up.
Shuttle back to Hotel
Repeat
THE PEOPLE are always the best part!
Always put the drinks in first where it fills the entire bottom, Then some ice, then more drinks, then more ice...repeat till full :D
“I was rapping it” 😂😅
we live, we learn!
exactly the way to do it ^ - heat rises, cold falls - so never ice first
You should come to Shambhala Music Festival in Canada, its the best camping festival in north america for sure! Loved your video!!
i thought that was in the uk?
(p.s. it's my birthday today)
DJ mag guys awarded it as the best festival in North America, and I believe they're right
@@TPDCanada
@tpd 2 of them! Different festivals!
I appreciate you guys for doing this since this is my one festival a year. Take a few years away and come back with those stickers, a solid hotel, a shuttle pass, and with lessons you learned from this one. Even if you never come back you have a new fan!
Really enjoyed that one lads. The positive vibes certainly came through.
thanks mate! glad u liked it!
The camera work on the mountains was top tier this video boys 😂
thank you hahaha
Babe wake up tpd just posted the EDC video. Yes lads fucking legends 👏🙌🙌🙌
Another amazing video boys! Love seeing festivals that are different genres and if it’s worth it when you’re not super into the music, one of my favourite videos this year!
Thanks mate!!!
EDC is the best, glad yall had a great time (it seemed like it in the video) and felt the vibes, I personally can't wait to go back! Great vid!
Jake vibing with his peace fingers at at 16:08 is a perfect meme.
mans first ever vibe
7) Have Fun.
very insightful. love the comment. you're right about most of it. we do like SK and we're seeing him in a few weeks. lots of love x
I love seeing the boys interact with Americans, everyone wanting to chat with the 4 mad brits
love the americans they're so fucking nice big up USA
(p.s. it's my birthday today)
@TPD big respect to the yanks. Yoo happy birthday my brother!
@@TPD Happy birthday boiiiii!!! -Rolland w/ the onewheel
P.S. I'm sad you didn't enjoy EDC as much as I did >.>
So glad the guys got to experience EDC, went for the first time in 2021 and haven’t stopped since. The energy, the community, the love (almost) everything about EDC is so amazing.
Love thay
Dear TPD Team. I follow you guys for 1 and a half year now and i want to say: Thank you guys so much for the content ❤️ it feels like i’m part of it. Again THANK YOU. ❤️
thank you so very much. we're so glad to have you on board
I’d love to see what you guys think about Electric Forest in Michigan!
we;d love to see it
good shit guys!
I met people at Tomorrowland festival who had been. They said Tomorrowland was way better and they’d never go back to EDC. This video confirms that. Great video guys!
It’s NO CONTEST
Been wanting to go ever since I saw the after movie from 2012. Have you gone?
@@evelynnnyt to Tomorrow land? Yeah, I went in 2019. It was expensive but worth every penny. We stayed in the pre made tents. They come with everything, even a torch and mirror so you definitely get your monies worth and the festival site it’s self is incredible.
I'm in love with this channel, these reviews mean the world for some of us who would never get to experience this because of money or other limitations. Thank you so much. You made me feel like I was there with you guys. I love you all.
Our pleasure! We love u too
Girl at 5 minutes in is the purest definition of “belter”
she's lovely
An hour and half of degenerate fun, Thanks guys.
The AI music was beautiful
class init hahaha
Much love from the US!
i love that! thanks so much xx
Rob’s diorama revealed some much bigger issues 😂
excuse me?!
The steam on the bottle😂
hahahah
It’s kind of crazy how much partying you guys do, but without any drugs.
This is a lot of the UK tbf
Lol they're always on drugs 😂
@@jacobmacdonagh4070 are u nuts? the uk party party like no where else... drugs flow.
@@tripcave420 well theyre drinking and smoking weed.
@@tripcave420 I mean hard drugs, uppers. Not weed and alcohol.
Literally love you guys so much I could rewatch your videos for hours everyday and never get bored ❤
Thanks so much holly xx
EDC is my favorite festival ever. I was looking for you all the whole time! Thank you for enjoying and spreading the love. Come back next year 🌱
Our pleasure!
Gotta get on the disco biscuits to fully immerse in these big dance fests boys. Life changing shit
hahaha i dont want to change my life!
13:16 "are you going to leave a tip" ?
No get fucked this shit is already on a 250% mark up
literally!
Choc's flower was actually really pretty.
it is currently on my wall
(p.s. it's my birthday today)
Kellas gives us another unique experience without delay. Thanks for staying true to the general admission audience. You lot are the best squad!
Our pleasure!
You scored a new fan from this video!
thanks so very much. would have loved to do it another way but i think this route gave us the funniest video. welcome to the channel!!
I don't think I've seen this many arses in one single video before
No beds is outrageous
Right!?
You guys are just doing it all wrong.. who leaves EDC and goes back to camp at 3am… where is the sunrise set? You guys are not listening to the right DJ’s. Clearly didn’t do your homework before heading to EDC. Knowing which DJ to listen to.
we did research! just not enough lol
I’m so impressed you guys put out this LONG video only a few weeks after EDC. Great video and great work, team.
Glad you enjoyed it!
First time watcher and I subscribed! Loved the long form content and I felt like I was there with you guys!
Choccy has best painting
ok he wins!
That style wasn’t happy hardcore, it was Gabber. To be honest, great review, but a waste of money festival but the looks of it x
sounded like Hardstyle to me.
Gabber is the dance-style, You are talking about hardcore ;)
we're learning a lot lol
looks like rob needed some maoams on night 2
I'm only 4 minutes in but can relate SO HARD. My campsite was one of the furthest from the entrance, and there were NO signs directing us. We asked a worker and he sent us in the complete opposite direction. Walking with all of your luggage in that heat is no joke. I had a heat stroke and felt the symptoms of it until night 2. It was still the best experience of my life though. This festival is unreal.
Had to edit this as I watched:
- The day 1 heat was no joke. The hottest of the days, it was grueling
-We also didnt bring our vodka in the first time, and did the same exact thing you guys did to sneak it in lol
-After we got back from sneaking the alcohol in, i litterally collapsed on the ground exactly as you did
can't express how much i love you guys and how much your videos make me happy !
also, you inspire me to keep working for my diploma in order to be able to go to so many festivals and events :)
thank you so very much. comments like this keep us going
(p.s. it's my birthday today)
You guys didn’t stay until sunrise….. no no no you can’t say you did EDC until staying when the sun rises and you see last set
I really don’t know why people would tell you to go to edc when you don’t like dance music 😂
We do though!!
