I bought a very expensive mixer 2 years ago because- Pounded yam. Lol, I think I've used it just 3 times. TBH, a large kitchen with abundant countertop space where you can line up your gadgets and leave them there is necessary. When I think of the stress of going into the pantry, climbing a step stool, bringing down the heavy box, I just respect myself and make Amala or Eba.
Sisi yemmie first of all thank you for this recipe😋😊, it'll really come in handy. I want to make this pounded yam ehn but the thing is you have to do giveaway. I love your mixer so we can start from there 😂😂😂😂😂 so me too I'll be able to eat this delicious pounded yam. Lemme run away before I chop cane🏃🏾♀️🏃🏾♀️🏃🏾♀️🏃🏾♀️🏃🏾♀️😂
Omg I have been waiting for you to do this because I tried and it comes out fine but sometimes a little lumpy. I see the extra step is to add the hot water from the boiling of the yam from time to time. Thank you for your post 🙌🏾
Wow that mixer is lovely I love the color my dear, I think I should try pounded yam anytime I am given opportunity. We don't have yam here. This mixture really works so well my dear I love how it moulds everything together
That looks perfect and I want to taste it right away. It does seem to cut some of the work in pounding and seems fluffier. Now if I can learn the technique to roll it on a plate for serving without having to wrap it I plastic wrap.
Thank you sis. This is a perfect launching who would 've thought that it would turn out like pounded yam. Newly Joined your lovely channel Sisi Thank you so much for sharing | Qui
I just checked the price on jumia and it's between N400k - N450k, I don't even half of that for a mixer 😂, but definitely worth it if you can afford it.
That is it Aunty Yemi. It is those who do not do the cooking who are the most exigent and whose commands are always very special🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣Let them bring their money to buy adequate equipments ooooh because all these suffer cooking dey tire we. Love all the way from Cameroon.
I’m still waiting for the day when the caterer in Nigeria will create another recipe from our normal food item that is totally different from the ones will know from the time of our great great grandmother
