it seams like there was some sound trouble during when the train was raving in Ashley but anyway great catches and video of Pere Marquette 1225 polar North Pole express runs
I’m sure you did get a little better because it always takes practice for us to make are videos for are channels when we first start making the channel begin @@chendersonrailproductions704
Thank you! We hope the SRI puts on a excursion up to Claire again or the Back to The Bricks! We would be back to that but we will wait awhile to return to Howell or NPE.
If memory serves correctly a dog had chased it to the end of its property and the deer was just running. There’s a better clip from the same day of the same incident.
Whistle Productions yes. But you get more shots with The curwood highlander. With the North Pole express anything can happen weather wise. You can easily get a few shots of him in owosso. Going out to the country you can get maybe another 2-3 depending on how fast he’s going.
Whistle Productions there is a crew but mainly set does these chases. I caught him twice before making it to the elevator last year and still had time. You can catch him leaving, the s curve and on delaney ave and still beat him to the elevator.
In my opinion 1225 looks better without the numberboards since the first time I saw 1225 on a dvd I own (the dvd was/is "Steam in the Spring" by Railway Productions) she wasn't wearing them. Her whistle also sounded different which I like more than what she has today. Here is what it sounded like th-cam.com/video/TW11BetldI4/w-d-xo.html
The reason the Whistle sounded so different is because of the fact back then it was lever operated. It is an on and off function. They added a rope cord in the early 2000s and that is the crew prefered method of blowing the whistle. I get where you are coming from.
@@evanf1293 I also agree with the flyer numberboard statement. If you do listen to some of the earlier clips of 1225 it is for sure noticeable of the whole on off feature.

Amazing video! Was the 1225 easy to chase?

was it just u chasing it or do u have a crew? Was it hard to get it from w main st to carland elevator?
