It's great knowing that a lesson is gonna be stuck in your head for years because of some phrase
"Ze zame zide"
"I can see your phenotype"
Are ones that I can think of right now
I remember “Z” is the same for “Cis” saying “Zis”.
You are sooo good! Great explanation.
Leah thank you for posting this. I am on the study hall and this went into more detail. Even after watching your cis/trans I was still getting lost with the E/Z method. So thank you!
Oh interesting, should I do a more detailed (more practice) study hall EZ session?
Yeah ok, Leah's channel is just a trade secret now at this point. Exam grades are backing it up heh:
exam 1 = 79(who is leah4sci) (class avg = 76.44)
exam 2 = 87(found channel) (class avg = 72.10)
exam 3 = 90 (class avg = 60.74)
exam 4 = 100 (class avg = 34.66)
Please make a detailed video of finding lamda Max using Woodward fieser rules
ze zame zide🤣🤣that genius. I love your videos. Thanks so much.
I'd love to take credit for this one but I got it from my professor who had a VERY heavy accent :)
You're very welcome
Wow... I understood everything. I actually thought I was dumb or something. You're the best
So many times it's not about smart or dumb. It's about understanding and being taught in a way you understand. So happy to help!
If groups with higher priorities are on the opposite side its called E I used word enemies to recognise it because they are opposite from each other
What 2 propene would be having ez or cis trans configuration
I'm sorry, but I don't offer tutoring through TH-cam comments. For help with this topic and more, I recommend joining the orgo study hall. Full details: leah4sci.com/join
She said "Ze zame zide" and "Eeposite" side in the most adorable way possible!!
@@Leah4sci You're welcome! Thank you for all the work and effort you put in! 🙌
What if you working with a diene how do differentiate e and z
The process would be the same. You would just need to identify the E/Z configuration for both double bonds in the molecule and include both in the structure's name.
If you haven't already, make sure to view my full tutorial on Geometric Isomers at Leah4sci.com/CisTrans
Please can you help me draw (4E)-3-(1-methylpropyl)-1-4-hexadiene
I'm sorry, but I don't offer tutoring over social media. For help with questions like this and more, I recommend joining the organic chemistry study hall. Details: leah4sci.com/join or contact me through my website leah4sci.com/contact/
what do u mean by atomic number? is that size?
The atomic number is the number of protons in an atom. It's the large number notated in each box of the periodic table of elements. It's not directly proportional to the atomic radius/size.
How do u know there is 2 hidden hydrogen atoms
I suggest watching my tutorial on drawing organic skeletal structures by visiting Leah4sci.com/Skeletal
