Josh, your announcement is sooner than we expected. The new pedals are a game changer for your company and us fisherman also. I predict this will grow your company exponentially although the fish are probably not happy with this announcement! Josh I applaud your ability to get this product to the market so soon. Designing the new pedals, sourcing the components, and building the pedals from concept to a working model is an amazing accomplishment. You took this project head on, kept us in the loop as much as you could during this process, and now are ready to roll out the new pedals. My fishing hat is off to you. Gerry
Thanks for the info and addressing the pedal concerns. Your inclusion of current owners to have the option to switch to these, shows your dedication to current owners to continue experiencing the unique experience that the Twin Troller offers! Well done! 👏
Very nice I love it…with that said only thing I’m wondering is why Black? Black will get really hot especially here in Florida when that direct sun is beating down on them in a 98* day, how hot will they get to the bare feet.
The original pedals "rocking forward" only happens to new owners who try to press the pedals forward too much. After only a few minutes, most anyone could understand that once the forward motion of the pedals are at their limit, there's no need to press any further. As far as squeaks & noise, this is solved easily by using a good spray lubricant on the springs & moving parts of the pedals. My favorite is a spray called BALLISTOL. It works MUCH better than WD-40, because it leaves behind a lubricating film that lasts months & months.........even years, and makes the pedals dead-quiet during operation. I've only had to spray the springs & armatures of my pedals 3 times in total. WD-40 evaporates too quickly. I'm sure the new upgraded pedals are nice.........but I would rather have my solid aircraft grade aluminum over injection molded plastic. But hey, to each their own. The new pedals certainly look better. I spray both the wire plug ends and the plugs to the pedals after every outing with DRY-FORMULA electronic contact cleaner as prescribed by the company after every outing on the water, and my original pedals & wire leads still work just fine. Proud Twin Troller owner since 2016, and still going strong.
Nice and very necessary upgrade. In the meantime, does anybody have a current foot pedal control box they would sell me? Unexpected wind storm swamped my boat and fried one of the boxes on my current pedals. The old design control box is not currently available from TT. My boat is sitting in my garage unusable and I'm missing out on fishing during the time of year that I actually have time to fish.
Went to site to try to pre-order the upgraded foot pedals for my 2021 Twin but they aren't there yet. Any idea when it will be available and how much the cost will be? Thanks!
I have not had any issues with the old design, but may want to upgrade, depending on the price. Will you post an update when you have that figured out? Thanks.
I will most definitely upgrade my 6 year old TT to these new pedals when they become available. I would like to know what happened to Frank and is he still part of the company.
Josh here. Frank is still around. I purchased the company from him about a year and half ago. He's semi retired, but still an executive of the company and works with us. He spends more time fishing than he used to, but he's earned it.

Well done. Appreciate the transparency. I’m impressed by the creativity and ingenuity of these design changes

Looks like a great update to an awesome boat!
Excited for the new pedals ...
a factory tour video on the building of the boat would be nice.
Love the new design
Consider the box being reflective silver or white color to keep the electronics cooler inside.
Looks good! I'm in!
Bravo!!!

What kind of new boat you guys you'll have it's going to be the same footage
What is the new weight capacity going to be?
Too bad the new pedals had issues. Need an update on how the fixes are coming along. Patience is a virtue, just not one of mine.
The issues have been resolved and these are working perfectly now. Contact customercare@freedomelectricmarine.com for assistance.

@@TwinTroller Frank, you earned the right to take advantage of your enormously popular Twin Troller.
Welcome to our family of TT owner retirees! Gerry
