    Thanks for the video. The last time that I was at Wellington Station in person was in 1956 !

    14:26- Madeley Junction on the left, not a single train has passed over there since the tour headed by Clun castle back in 2019

    I was in the cab of a Wrexham and Shropshire Railways train from Telford to Wellington one time, doing a spot of video work. Great fun. It's on TH-cam, somewhere.

    Random fact for you. On a clear night you can see the aspect of MJ343 on the approach to Madley junction from Albrighton station footbridge. Still waiting on an interview date for wolverhampton but still in the pipeline

      Albrighton to Madeley Junction are a few miles between each other.

    Another good video Russell. I didn’t mind not going to Shrewsbury because I have been there with you a lot lately. Wolverhampton is another good name, but not as good as Cleethorpes.

    Did you carry on to Shrewsbury or did you finish there? If you carried on did you film to Shrewsbury?

      No carried on to Shrewsbury. Camera stopped on filming. Don't know why.

    What are the advantages of staggering platforms?

    • @nathanwhitington1726
      @nathanwhitington1726 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The South Eastern & Chatham Railway used to stagger their platforms on the basis that it was safer for a pedestrian to cross the tracks behind a departing train.
