Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 can seem impossible to repair by yourself. But you absolutely can, and this video will walk you through the steps of replacing the battery of Redmi Note 7.

The Redmi Note 7 has a 4,000mAh battery pack, which is seemingly a Xiaomi standard, we had high hopes for the Redmi Note 7 - especially with its power-sipping chipset in tow.
And thankfully, we weren't disappointed. Likely in part due to the aggressive app closures made by MIUI (Xiaomi’s particular flavor of Android) we found that standby times in particular for this device are very strong, with the Redmi Note 7 dropping only a few percentage points across the course of a night.
In general usage, after a 13 hour day, with 2 hours of commuting, listening to music on Bluetooth headphones, video, emails, messaging and calls, by the end we had an average of 67-70% left in the tank. By the estimation of most, this is a good showing.

Wow, seems not that easy, it was so good to have removable batteries
This is the guide I use but they omit that the battery have pull tabs for easy removal like an iphone
Steps up to 2:20 are sufficient for, the back wall can also remain.

i just pull it out with hands , there were some sparks and it was glued like hell. battery deformed as I pull :D .

What to do when you replace your battery? Should you drain the newly replaced battery first then charge it or should you charge it first to 100% then use it?
When it s on 10% with charge, you should put it at 100% first time. Best regards

so how long did it actually take to change battery? more then 6min i guess(4min to just heat up front at 90celsius,so all in all time to finish?)
I read it would be easy to change battery myself on a battery selling site(but i really dont think i will be able to do it w my horrible hands"have arthritis so stiff n pain all the time)..
Battery price 10usd/euro and at store 100usd/euro in 2022 when i asked(in 2024 its possible more or less to get a new battery)
So question is,would it be worth to let a store change battery if the redmi note 7 phone is in (like new condition exept battery ofcourse)
I bought a new redmi note 12 a while back so thought of fixing old xiaomi phone to have as backup(But is it worth 100usd ?)

My phone suddenly dies even with 100 percentage battery is battery replacement needed or any board problem but stays on using charger but if play sound from phone it again dies
