I can imagine he would feel SO happy to hear he reminded you guys of Nas because he's one of joons favorite artists since he was young. I hope you guys react to the full album!
In yun, he was saying other people are pointing to the top of the mountain saying that's where he belongs. Meaning they have such high expectations of him. He then says that they tell him he can't go from the highway to the railroad. Despite having so much fame and attention, rm is someone that really enjoys a simple lifestyle
If RM heard you say that He gives you NAS vibes, he would like that so much, because his muse is NAS, His main artistic influence, he's said it in interviews at least twice that I've heard personally. And once in a Vlog he did on TH-cam in his trainee days. Also, something to note, he talks about his age, but in the context of Korean age. so he actually turned 28 in September of 2022. Korean age is you are 1 year old at birth, and for the new year, January 1, you turn one year older. That's how he is communicating his age. He actually turned 29 in 2023 on September 12.
RM grew up in Ilsan, a city in the countryside. He moved to Seoul when he was signed as a trainee with Big Hit Entertainment, in 2010. All the guys lived together in a dorm until the team was finalized in 2012, and they debuted in 2013. All of them lived together in the same dorm/apartment until 2022, when they actually moved out. Some of the members had their own homes apart from the dorm, so they could spend alone time there, but when they were actively promoting their music, creating music, and touring, that was their main residence. Also, during the pandemic, they stayed together in the dorm. When the group took the break for solo projects and military service, that's when they moved out. But they will be coming back together as a group in 2025. All seven members renewed their contract with Big Hit Music in September 2023, it will take affect when they are out of the military in 2025.
By the way, I would like to respectfully disagree with you. BTS have had to work 10 times harder at what they do, in the beginning they worked extra jobs, like SUGA working a delivery job, and getting in an accident and injuring his shoulder, and not telling anyone because he was afraid he would be fired from BTS. And the guys being back up dancers for other groups in their beginnings, so they could be accepted on shows. Getting their names out their. And also JIN bringing food from his parents' house to feed his team, because they were low on money. This was in his trainee days. They did an average of 8 hours a day of choreography, then they would go to recording for another 4 hours, and they still had to do their studies for school, and also write and produce their music. They were living off very little sleep, living in a small dorm sharing a one bedroom apartment, and living off sometimes only two ramen cups a day. Because their agency was almost bankrupt. They were with a small independent label.
And to top it off, they were dealing with Hate from all sides. The K-Pop industry, underground rap, the media, and other group's fans. Because they were different and were doing things differently in an industry that had a set way of doing things, so they were harshly judged, and blocked at every turn, getting their performances cut from shows, not being invited to perform, and being looked down on. They didn't get a break until 2019, and it was only for 3 weeks, and they were back at the grind, then the pandemic happened. At one point in 2018, when they were deciding whether to renew their contract that was ending in 2020, they seriously thought about disbanding. this was when they were already huge Globally, and had been promoting in America after being nominated and won a Billboard Award in 2017. The racism, xenophobia, and hate was really bad in the USA, and the industry didn't know what to think about them. They basically paved the way for K-Pop because of their success in America. If you haven't done the introduction video, you really need to. These guys are on another level with their work ethic, their artistry, their humility, and their love for their fans.

You guys got exactly what RM is doing with his solo music, I’m always get super excited when ppl understand his music (just with two song you found the connection he wanted to do with mono and indigo)… actually he had 2 previous mixtapes before Indigo (RM and Mono). He’s an amazing lyricist; the more you listen to his solo songs and lyrics you’ll noticed that he’s mostly the main writer behind bts songs. The only advice I could tell you is to listen the whole album from top to bottom, cuz as you said he’s a storyteller, so his albums are always a journey. Thanks for your reactions…you are amazing!
for me RM song is so meaningful, even tho I love all BTS member, but I always have different special respect for him as artist, our leader let's go

You two are the cutest! I subscribed as soon as I discovered your channel because I love your enthusiastic reactions. BTS has such a massive discography. Just like you've done with the majority of your videos so far, people generally start their BTS journey with the title tracks to their albums (it also helps that those songs have MVs). As you dig deeper, I think you'll also love checking out albums by the group as well as the members' solo albums. So many B-side songs on those albums are absolutely incredible! And we're here to watch if you decide to do an album listen! I believe if you break up your album-listen video into separate parts with no more than 3 or 4 songs, each you should be able to safely post them on TH-cam. Borahae!

I love them all so much but RM is my ultimate bias. I absolutely love the way he looks at life and his song writing to me is some of the best. Indigo is truly a masterpiece like others have said. You can tell when he was speaking he was so nervous but once he started singing that melted away. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

I loved the reaction! Thank you, I've watched a lot of BTS reactors and for some reason, there are not that many that actually pay attention to their lyrics, interpret thoughtfully and I would say quite accurately while adding personal insight, BTS has great lyricism, mostly on their B sides songs, I hope you react to them at some point

you guys should check indigo album in full, each of the song is in different genre, it shows his versatility as an artist. But wildflower is a must song. He poured all of his heart to that song.

Dimple was written by Rm but performed by the vocal line. Namjoon said he wrote this song because he wished he got complimented on his dimples 😂
Pied piper basically following the story of the pied piper. They are the pied pipers and we are the ones enchanted & charmed everytime they sing.😅
The second video is the festa live room performance. It's a medley snippets of their songs throughout the years 2013-2021

He was turning 30 in Korean age (28 in international age). In Korea when you're born, you're 1 year old and every new year (on January 1th) you add 1 year. I haven't checked it out yet if you did a reaction on 'Wildflowifer' but this song is so beautifull and sad at the same time with very meaningfull lyrics. It gives me shivers every time...

The BTS Tiny Desk was in September 2020 during the pandemic, and RM's performance was December 2, 2022. Then V debuted the Tiny Desk Korea show, and it was also aired on NPR Tiny Desk (Home) at the same time. All three of these performances were amazing. I hope you have an opportunity to listen to V's performance as well. This was released on September 14, 2023.

He's the best rapper and songwriter , every song has different emotions and different story
