You make a good point! I admire them so much! Even though some professional ballet dancers despise the way ballet is presented in acrobatics, you can't deny that it is an artistic beauty that exists! Both performers are beyond our knowledge in terms of talent and skill! It was beautiful! It was like two ballet dancers performing acrobatic art.
I have never seen such a level of acrobatics seamlessly integrated into ballet. Given how natural and effortless it was performed here, the two diverse skills were made for one another, and yet no one has done it before. Superb!

There are classical ballets intermixed with modern, gymnastics or acrobátics But the grace, harmony Is often missing. But this Pure Tchaikovski Swan Lake with all the gracefulness, calm, perfect control, mastery AND Added superelastic bodies which blend completely with right music speed of this lovely Tchaikovski. This is by far the best presentation of the three I've seen on TH-cam. It takes the breath away. The fact that the gymnastics are done without a spotter is insane but then again the ballerina is so sure of herself a spotter doesn't seem to be needed. I've seen a lot of gymnastics, in 75 years, but this is by far the most amazing I've ever seen.
it isn't just the ballerina being sure of herself; she has to be very sure of her partner also. This is all about the partnership obviously because if one of them screws up even the slightest, one or both of them could be hurt. Yes, they are absolutely amazing.

As reluctant as I am to praise anything that veers ballet towards acrobatics, I cannot but praise the level of athleticism and actual artistry of this performance. It is not ballet but it is acrobatics at the highest levels, kudos to these dedicated and beautiful athletes.
Not a fan of hyper-extensions but I watched this to the end and have to say I was mesmerised by the quality of the couple dancing, pointes are hard enough on the floor but to see the technique taken to another level....... Superb entertainment!

Four men from Russia duplicated a few moves while on their hands, from Swan Lake. But balancing in this program deserves all the alloclades one can Receive!! I saw a version of this in my hometown in 2008 for my best friends 9th birthday. I still remember so much of it, one of the best things I've seen in my life.
If every ballet company in the world saw this, both would immediately become principle dancers, soloists, prima ballerina, and be able to name their price!
I am not an expert on ballet or music for that matter, but this work is amazing! Better than most of the Europeans, Latin America or any other I have ever seen. These people are amazing in the Acrobatics and in compositions of such kind. More than one thumb up!!!

The IOC has to take a look at this to believe something as extraordinary as this taking place outside of the Olympic venue and missing the world podium. They must issue a gold medal to this couple particularly her for being an artistic gymnast, ballerina, rhythmic gymnast and acrobat. She looks frail but boy is she strong. That hand-stand supporting her entire body weight is beyond belief and her arms look like toothpicks. It took my breath away and my heart stopped beating.
First time I have seen the 'dancing on the head' WITHOUT SPOTTERS ON STAGE in the performance - so this took even more courage. Can't watch any 'normal' ballets again after seeing these amazing feats.
