    Spark plugs every 20k-30k, transfer case service every 30k, injector cleaning every 30k, oil change every 5k, transmission fluid every 50k, coolant expansion tank fix. This is what the m5 needs to get done and it will be reliable. Very high maintenance car ive ever owned

      Correct. Some newer M5s have the newer coolant expansion tank.

    Very fortunate I stumbled upon your video here. I am in almost the exact same situation as you were. Currently have a 23 Charger HC Jailbreak but am looking to go with a 2021 BMW M5C (43k miles). I have been researching the potential problems and issues to be mindful of so this video was exactly what I was looking for. Please give us an update after you've put some more miles on the car!

    I need to talk to a good suspension shop before buying the M5 because I wanna increase the ground clearance of the vehicle 1.5 inches without too many modifications. It's not gonna be that easy, but I do want something special.
    Originally I really desired a porsche 991.2 4S (elephant racing has those cool suspensions kit lift with bespoken parts for the 991) but they are 100k used whereas the M5 is around 60k. Not a great value for less performance than the M5.
    I need to find a way for this suspension thing...anyway congrats for the vehicle, it does look nice.

    F90 has two coolant tanks; one is normal engine and the other is for the intercoolers.

    pls do a vid on the suspension/ride quality and any mods you plan to do, aftermarket springs do help the m5

      I definitely plan on doing a drive video. I’ll make sure to include all that. Not sure on the mods. the original owner changed the grill and added carbon fiber exhaust tips, PPF and ceramic coating. I definitely recommend the weather tech package for the floor mats because we do get snow where I live and this is a daily driver.

      @@BeamingForLife-zw5hz Agree. BMW most know M5s needs the oil replace sooner. My 2018 M550 used to state 8000 miles between oil changes with basically the same engines (s63 vs n63).

      I got mine with 44,000 miles for 57k. Just depends on the area and how many are there on the market. Make sure you get a good vehicle history report and check the coolant tank if it’s been replaced and if it’s eligible for recall

    What oil do you use?

    • @BeamingForLife-zw5hz
      @BeamingForLife-zw5hz  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The first oil serviced by the dealer it’s usually goes with 5w40 mechanic I talk to say to use that year around I know they try to get people to use a thicker oil in the summer and thiner in the winter

    • @BeamingForLife-zw5hz
      @BeamingForLife-zw5hz  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The car recommends 9000 miles I would honestly go much lower 5000 was kind of extreme probably 6 to 7 would still be early without wasting your money. I just don’t see how those engines can run that clean regardless of the technology.
