    In last ques..overall conversion will be CH3OH formed by mole of CO in fresh feed into 100=71.9 %

    Nice explanation sir, now I'm feeling regret that i didnt did coaching & not got any PSU just bcs of 1 Or 2 question difference in GATE 2019 (reached till interview, but less gate score paid me a lot).
    Hope you will upload same kind of videos for other subjects for students like me who is doing study from Home.

    in the last question you solved during the calculation of overall conversion, in the denominator I think you wrongly took Total feed rate rather than the amount of CO in the fresh feed i.e 32.

    for problem 3, you have already considered 100 moles of fresh feed for doing the inert balance. Why did u then again consider P/100?

      Now the question could be understood in both ways. You and I have thought that Per 100 moles of feed meant we have to take 100moles as basis but sir has answered to the literal question which asked find the amount of purge per 100 moles of F. Both sir and you are right in your own contexts.

      100 moles are considered in the basis for which we got the value of P and P/100 is considered for finding the value at 1 mole . It's just simple unitary method of consideration.
