Once I had a supply chain consulting project with an oil & gas company in Qatar. My consulting director (who was responsible for sales) was a nasty person with identity crises (hold British citizenship through extended residence) and looked at people lowly without respect agreed to pickup the project with accommodation arrangement that we stay in labor camp not in hotel and commuting to client site (that was 30 minutes drive) The camp was a shock, nothing to do with basic means of life: no TV, no radio, no mobiles. Food was served with the most racist system: quality, portions, variety depends on your job grade with worst and lowest served to labors grade.
