€64,000 for a Skoda Kodiaq, before even delving into the additional "packs" is really demonstrating how car manufacturers have piled on the price increases on cars over the past 3 years.
Great vid! Took delivery of my plugin hybrid two weeks ago from Sprite. (Got rid of my EV) Had two sportlines in the past great to look at but overall the same drivers experience.
Great video, Nobby. Just for info if someone is interested in this colour.I got 242 facelift Octavia in July with this Velvet Red colour, and it was 1215e extra.I got for "free" cause it's my 3rd car at the same garage.Wouldn't say it's much cheaper for Kodiaq.
Is it automatic , if so i hope they have sorted out their gearbox problems , my aunt bought a skoda jeepey thing like this 55 plus grand , 3 months out of warranty, automatic box failed 3500 euros repair to fix it
agree 64k from 55k ish last year, i drove the new Sportline the other day its like a boat horrible drive in my opinion and i was going to purchase one. I have a 22 Tarraco Fr and drives far better
Nobby great review i ordered a new sportline in white but i was told the wheels were extra 1400 or so ,am i being ripped off ,supposed to be picking up in jan overall costing me 14000 wirh my 231 kodiaq sportline, any taughts thanks
Everything in life going backwards , home appliances , travel time on planes , food quality , car quality , its like we knew how to make things great and said , let start doing making really poor quality products
@NobbyOnCars every plane journey has gotten slower , anywhere really in the world , due to planes flying slower to save fuel , my friend flew concorde many time said it was very uncomfortable
@@johnwhite5318 if I didn’t need the extra seats. Great KIA warranty though but more range and faster charging in the Škoda too. Oh, and if I didn’t need AWD - Kia has that, Škoda doesn’t in PHEV.
@@leefitzpatrick5624 I’m afraid not as I just got one with the 10 inch screen. It has everything else, side assist, lane assist, front assist, blind spot etc. My Enyaq with the 13 inch screen had it and I wondered why the Kodiaq did not have it and was told it only comes with the 13 inch screen.
I'm reading some experiences about adaptive cruise control and overly sensitive systems. What's your experience with that? With ACC, that it doesn't decelerate smoothly when approaching a vehicle ahead, but instead brakes abruptly all at once. Also, that it brakes abruptly at traffic signs. Also, a story where, due to a sensitive sensor, an emergency stop occurred because it detected a cyclist in the other lane.
Haven’t noticed the ACC issue you describe. I have seen them misread road signs on a motorway, picking up a sign on an exit slip road as you drive past on the motorway. The frontal collision is something I’ve seen happen on multiple brands, it’s just not a perfect system in that sense but it will certainly do the job of avoiding hitting something but it catches you off guard when you’re not expecting it.

The price of everything has gone up over the past 3 years! That includes all the parts that come together to make a car!
But not our wages.......
Very over priced, CX-80 is a better option at this price in Ireland.
I configured mine with almost everything and got up to 55k 🤨
@@fandomuniverse poor quality gearbox and engine , very underpowered like jaguar x pace diesel , enjoy 54k for poor quality
I've just ordered this exact model. Was going to go grey until I saw this video then paid the extra for red!
It’s a cracking colour
Just ordered in Meteorite Grey. Can't wait. Didn't know panoramic sunroof was standard in it.. amazing.
Maybe in Ireland but It’s not in the UK
Quality stuff as usual Nobby! Love seeing the notification that you've a new video up 🥳
got an octavia vRS on order in this colour...fist time I have seen it on a car rather than a picture...glad I chose it now!
It’s beautiful

Excellent review 👏 we will buy this exact one , collect Jan 25 red looks amazing
@@Mauriceok I ordered mine through tusker (for work) 45 weeks lead time!!!!
I ordered mine can’t wait 😜
Great all around car, & very handsome
Looks great wow what an improvement over the pig ugly standard one. Don't like the racing stripe on the seats but everything else is very nice

The wheels minus the overall price of the car once the wheels are applied should come down
@NobbyOnCars no it went up nobby not down when i asked for bigger wheels
shop around if that was a dealer price, the Skoda website should see the price drop.
Just ordered a LHD version in Switzerland...panoramic roof not standard here 😞
Finally, i was waiting for this! Any idea if there will be a vrs version or a tsi with over 200 hp? Thanks!
VRS yes
There will be a RS version with the 265hp 2.0tsi (same as tiguan/terramar/superb etc.) coming ... it should be introduced this december
@@DamiBiker thank you!!!
who invents these wheels so deep inside wheel arches?
150 bhp seems very under powered in such a big car. Used to come in 190 bhp version so this seems like a step back.

190 in the 4X4
Did you fly on Concorde yourself?! 🤣

@NobbyOnCars I love the way that's your only response to everything being poor quality now days
Great to finally see it in the flesh. Would you take a plug-in sportline over a Kia Sorento plug-in?

Thank you. Great channel keep up the good work.
Would you say that the Kodiaq is the better car overall, all things considered?
Needs wheels spacers at the back, the wheels seem set in too far......doesn't look sporty at all because of it.
They could sit a little wider for sure
I believe you don’t get Predictive cruise control unless you get the 13 inch screen.
That’s standard on every new Kodiaq

Seems like 13 inch is standard on all cars
€7000 for not a lot extra seems a bit of a steep walk. I’d expect it to be a bit more special.
Problem is, why would you order this over a RAV 4 Prime, 300bhp hybrid that can do 50 mpg??
Why buy this instead of buying 3 Dacia Duster 🤷♂️
@@fandomuniverseBecause the build quality is on another level, that's why
@@julianroberts5407 there's your answer
Sorry, but the older Kodiaq looks much better.
if those blinking drls > then it shitty> as it distracts front car into believing as if you are flashing> it happen to me and it was damm annoying..
It’s the frame rate on the camera not the car
No AWD in PHEV and no 7 seats either in PHEV. Missing a trick.
Mazda CX-80 is a better option

👍💪😁😍♥️
Give it six months of intense use and all the alcantara parts will look scabby, especially the armrests. 🤢
Never ever gonna buy a car with the slap on tablet..
Cheap, no imagination in the dash design..
Diesel ?
