The movie is actually ok, in comparison it's better than most superhero movies from the 90's. I heard that Warren Beatty, who directed the movie and played the lead, actually wanted to make a sequel and this was like 3-4 years ago. If they ever plan to make a reboot, I hope they make it gritty and violent like the early comics, where every crook had a gruesome death at the end of the story (for reals! =P). It could be a TV-show and hey, if they can make a serious dark version of Archie with Riverdale (which is still weird to me!), they can do the same with Dick Tracy! Actually, there is a faceless vigilante with a coat and a fedora hat in DC Comics and animated projects called The Question. He was originally from Charlton Comics, but when they went bankrupt they sold their superhero characters to DC. The most popular version of The Question is in the Justice League Unlimited TV-show where he's a conspiracy theorist and is voiced by Jeffrey Combs from Re-Animator.
I’m fairly sure Rockstar played this game and afterwards were determined to make certain their game LA Noire did everything right this game did wrong. Seriously if you haven’t played LA Noire I HIGHLY recommend you do. Also the guy you were thinking about is Belloq from Raiders Of The Lost Ark.

I remember seeing this episode, the Nerd was really frustrated playing this game and the game developer really has no sense in making better games.
3:38 Personally, I'm guessing people used to use "Rick" as a nickname for Richard, and then that got corrupted into Dick, kind of like how we got "Peg" from Margaret, or "Polly" from Mary.
OK. so I love reaction videos. I watch a lot of people react to things. If someone has a funny video I scour the net to find a bunch of reaction videos to it. I have seen so many terrible reactors. Like really bad. People who pause every few seconds. People who just sit there like a lump and don't react. Heck even people who decide now is the best time to just play on their phone. I must say that you are one of the best. You actually REACT to what is going on. You only pause when you need to. You don't parrot what is going on in the video. You have a pleasant voice and laugh. You are generally sweet and actually enhance the original content. I just want you to know that you do a wonderful job.
I agree with every word said by YukoValid Sword. I like reactions but a lot of them suck these days, because no one knows how to do them correctly. But you do. You are one of the best i've seen and it does keep me coming back.

@@the-NightStar lol some of them are so bad.. one of them was a 20 minute video and I swear for 10 minutes of that the guy was looking down at his phone. I used to like renegades, but the main guy now decides he wants to overact dramatically and pause every 20 seconds. just bah. Pauses should be used sparingly, where you need a moment to finish laughing or something. Lola does this really well.
@@lolasroom7171: That one guy bouncing back & forth across the floor, after going down the stairs? Reminds me of the Koopa Troopa you kick and his shell hits all the boxes set like stairs in Super Mario Bros 3's World 2; Desert Land. After a certain number of breakable blocks are broken & coins are grabbed, he just keeps bouncing between a coin block and I think the green pipe.

It’s criminally underrated!
I'm been fan of The Nerd since 11 or 10 years ago.
Not a bad game for the time. It mostly played like the old robocop games with the side screen, with a bit of a mystery. The overworld had snipers, but you can get out and shoot them, and they never respawn. That I say makes this game a lot better than you think. Also $20. This is the 1930s, so that is worth about $350 now.
