Just when one thinks all hope is loss, an Angel appears. Thank you Michael for being a true angel on Earth to those who truly are in need. As a homeless advocate I know the struggle but we definitely need more people like you. May God's grace and blessings continue to be upon you.
I feel so bad for this young fellow. He seemed so lost...it makes me wonder what his story is and how he came to be in this situation. Michael, your dedication to assisting so many of the needy in your area is so inspiring. We all need to appreciate what you are doing for our fellow human beings.

If nothing lifts your spirits within the first week, you end up depressed and spiral down a bad route of drugs and even more depression. He needed this...

My heart broke for this guy.. You could see on his face he was so ashamed to be begging for money.. I pray what ever is going on in his life he will be able to over comes it, to be able to find his way back home, or in a shelter. Michael you did show up right when he needed someone the most .

It is difficult as a mother to see young people homeless. He must feel isolated when he doesn’t know anyone. You certainly gave him friendship when he needed it most & he was so appreciative of everything. I hope he learns about the dangers out there before he gets
robbed or hurt. Everyone is in the same situation on the streets but not everyone feels safe. I pray he finds his way safely!!
He stood there in amazement. He had nothing but the shirt on his back. And, he was so respectful. He seemed like a nice enough guy. I can't imagine not having anything but the shirt on your back. The $20 gave him some dignity. And the belt.
The sunglasses. you made him feel dignified enough that they would let him in the store to buy something.

I really feel it with this one. I can just imagine how tired and hopeless you become out there. Life in general has this effect, but especially when you’re homeless, broke, and alone. I cannot imagine.

What's really sad is the number of homeless people keeps growing in this fine country of ours. Believe it or not there was a time when I never saw homeless folks in the U.S., but now where ever I travel I see people struggling to get by.

As usual... You're an angel Michael. All I can think of in this case is what landed him in that position. My brother liked being on the streets & lived all over the Country like that off & on for years, but it was by choice. This guy seems new to the streets & scared. Very sad.

Oh Michael, thank you so much for all you did for Justin. Since he is new on the streets and did not have anything, you are a blessing to him. I love that you even gave him sunglasses, the sun is wicked hot. The sleeping bag, the backpack, extra bags, money and all kinds of food and a few beverages and flashlight. You probably gave him lots of hope in the dark sad times he is facing being new to homelessness. I hope things turn around for Justin, he seemed so appreciative and like a good fellow.

Michael doing a greater service. Probably saving many lives. I have a brother who suffers from mental health and through abuse and neglect ended up homeless for two years. My brother, my dad, and myself tried many time to help him. I took putting him in a facility a few times to finally get him back stable. Alot of these people just need to be treated as equal and helped.
