DC CFAR Global SIG Seminar featuring Dr. Nicole Angotti and Dr. F Xavier Gómez-Olivé

On January 18, 2024, the DC CFAR Global Scientific Interest Group (SIG) held a virtual seminar featuring a presentation by Dr. Nicole Angotti, Associate Professor of Sociology at American University in collaboration with Dr. F Xavier Gómez-Olivé, Associate Professor at the University of the Witwatersrand. Dr. Angotti focused on the findings from her DC CFAR Pilot Award project entitled, "HIV after 50 in its Chronic Era in Rural South Africa" and the preliminary findings from her ongoing NIH R21 project entitled “Intergenerational Intervention: Employing Youth to Promote Aging Healthy with HIV in rural South Africa.”
