Had to watch the previous vid re buying the set up! Reel and rod again. Nice set up … looked so easy to use! Looks like you had one of the few days that was good to get out! You certainly gave the rod some welly with those double figure Pollock! Thanks for the info and vid! Brownie🤓
Another craker you are on a roll Mark you are an Artist 🎨 on your new rod just keep on catching those big old lumps i am loving it Mark wicked fishing you got the feel for some serious fishing keep them coming Mark thanks for your fishing videos wicked from Ben 👍 👌
Perfect session Mark. My favourite kind fishing is SPJ, fell in love with it this time last year. We were out last week, I had 6 Pollock with the best being a 10 pounder - decorated the wreck with a couple of jigs too🙈. We are out again tomorrow, so fingers crossed. I visted Terry at Jigabite the other day, what a nice guy, very helpful and a wealth of knowledge - i will soon be updating my equipment with him. Thanks for video, always look forward to them.
Well done Mark (and Gazza). Great christening for your new toys. Some beautiful pollock there. While I did watch your video of the shopping spree, I failed to spot why you chose the LH reel. What made you decide to switch hands?
Hi Mark, love your videos. Just a comment, your boat seems to roll like crazy, virtually every video, I see you trying to get your balance. In my view its too stable, that is to say it rolls port/starboard and returns to the upright very quickly. Maybe you need some more weight lower down below the waterline or of course less weight on top!
I do go out in big swells and I think the 360 can may give it a different appearance I think it’s well stable at sea and if I put more weight in it will burn more fuel and go slower I love it but i’m not saying you’re wrong. I’ve never really thought about it. I’ll be honest, but I really appreciate you watching the videos. You’ve got me thinking now, but honestly, I do find it extremely great in rough conditions.
@@markchown4910 ok but as long it’s legal to catch a few, and he’s not breaking the law. I don’t know the law in UK but in Danmark, there’s no restriction on them, besides it has to be 35cm. 🤷♂️
He is not fishing for a specific species. There is no UK limitation on Pollack beyond 35cm. I happen to know that Mark returns nearly all the fish he catches.
Now that is how to christen a new rod! Well done Mark and some great net work from Gazza
Thanks Brian 🙏🎣
Awesome fish and great video. Love how skip gets so impatient when you are reeling in .
Thank you so much for your comments

Great video guys, really enjoyed that one 😊
Thank you so much for your comment🙏🎣
Try slacking off when you snag up and bounce the jig a few times, more often than not the weight of the jig dropping will free it.
Nice fishing Mark, a few decent lumps there.
Thanks 🙏🎣
Well done
Love my slow jigging also
Still dont see many people useing them here in Cornwall but they can and are killers on there day😊
Nice video gents, you keep finding them i keep missing them! Ray probably told you....
