    Among the players seen are George Best, Willie Morgan, Alex Stepney, Bobby Charlton, Denis Law, Nobby Stiles (Manchester United) and Jim Husband, Gordon West (Everton).

    Those were the days when a quid would get you the match with your bus fare, entrance fee a programme, a Hollands pie and a drink. More than half standing and great players. Also half a dozen teams would be in with a chance of being champs.

    The thing I remember of the 60/70's football was how the goalkeepers would collect crosses and hold them unlike today all the waving flapping and punching. The keepers back then were much better and had less protection than today.
