We have separate rooms because if we did not, it would be mayhem with tons of people in a small crowded area.
Trains only Identify as the opposite sex but cannot go into other rooms because we cannot know who is trains. Because what if it is on a road trip and no one knows who they are? Plus, what if non-trans Say they are trans because being trans does not act the other gender stereotypically.
It is easier to do bad things to people because of how small and crowded it is.

Also, the idea was founded on conservative people because they thought fewer bad things would happen if we separated it.
We deny people from entering the other room not because everyone who does it will commit a bad thing but because other people might complain, go into the wrong room, and then one day,
some nasty people will do bad things, or bad things will happen to you while you are in the wrong room because, statistically, most bad things are in crowded spaces, and these rooms are small and crowded.
Several countries do not have open borders, not because they are intolerant.
But because they cannot control many people.
Because, unlike the EU, they do not have shared stats of the country, which most open borders countries do have, and then some bad people with evil pasts can come here without knowing their past.
