Anandi accidently burns her hand as tea spills on her hand. As she cries in pain, the entire family gathers in the kitchen, worried, while Dadisa continues to mock her for studying while working. Anandi's heart breaks as she is no more capable of writing and can't attempt for the exam.
The original clutter breaker of Indian TV, Balika Vadhu, leads the pack when it comes to socially relevant shows. The journey of the show began with a focus on child marriages and over time, has progressed to woman empowerment. Destiny now seems to hold a terrible twist for the show's protagonist, Anandi, as her own daughter may face a similar fate- A Child Marriage.
