This was such a refreshing perspective on science communication! The way Suzanne so effortlessly and eloquently talks here is truly inspiring. And it proves the point that science communication really doesn't have to be as hard or daunting as some academics make it out to be: "Science is a process of understanding the world. It is a discussion, like the findings are always contested. If it's just assumed to be true and it's never challenged, that's not actually science [...]. And you will say stuff wrong, and that's okay, that's part of doing your job. That's part of communicating to the public." That's part of being a researcher." ✨ Thank you for this great vlog and for bringing us along to London! 🙏
Absolutely crucial video, we think! Science communication is becoming increasingly important nowadays, especially amid great uncertainty and fake news. Kudos to Dr. Newcombe for being so precise and sharp in addressing the most important points. Thumbs up for the work of INFORM and the recognition of the significance of knowledge transfer, which, unfortunately, the humanities and social sciences have only recently begun to realize! 💯
It was a pleasure meeting Suzanne and everybody else at INFORM! Thank you so much @Anna for introducing us and thank you INFORM and all the other organizations, for making us feel so welcome ❤

You attract what you radiate! ♥🌟
The atmosphere is different when you're around people who study the same topic as you do! It's always great being in London. ❤
So cool! Thanks! 🎉

Auch für Menschen, die nicht so gut Englisch verstehen und mit Wissenschaft sonst nichts am Hut haben sehr verständlich.
