The key to the vada, idli, uttappam, etc is, never eat them without any chutney or sambhar. Reason is, those things dry out the throat quickly, so one might feel choked. So better eat them only with some chutney or sambhar.

Wow, man. That Vada looks so delicious! I've never had it before, but it looks right up my alley. And so does the rest of the breakfast you had. I like polenta a lot, so I'm sure I'd love the Upma, and the curries and chutneys you had with the Puri sound incredible. I've never had a savory pancake before, but just the idea of the Uttapam has my mouth watering! It sounds amazing! Walking up 360 steps at Golconda Fort in the heat sounds tough, but man...it looks like it was worth it. I'm obsessed with history, so I'm pretty sure I wouldn't want to leave! It's amazing that the fort was built on top of those giant boulders, and the painted boulders are gorgeous! Thanks for showing us beautiful places like this. This India series has been next level. They charge more as that's normal charge ,average indian are poor so they can't pay normal charge and thus average indian pays subsidised rate .

FYI.. income tax in India is source-based and residence based. It has nothing to do with "Citizenship". So income earned by foreigners in India is taxable.
