Wow!! It looks like you are even using economy picking just like Yngwie on the first ascending scale run. Yngwie always sounded so effortless and clean on these. I was around 13 years old when this came out, so I'm basically a contemporary of Yngwie. I slowed this solo down and tried to play it, but didn't know about economy picking back then. I've since seen Yngwie in concert many times, and he only nailed this solo perfectly ONCE! You nailed it perfectly!!!
@@MagyHimself Yngwie always drank beers throughout his concerts. The time he nailed his solos perhaps he drank less. 😄 The times I saw him live, he played the best when his bandmates were the most talented. With Joe Lynn Turner, he played the worst, with his Eclipse album crew, the best. That crew had an exceptional singer, and great cellist on bass.
What year is your guitar made? I am on the market for one! I think I asked you awhile ago maybe, but I want one just like it! It's beautiful, and looks well weathered! \m/
It is a 2016 model. I doubt that you should be looking for this exact year, all new ones look the same to me. I actually hate the lack of colour on the neck, it is plain white almost.
@@MagyHimself maybe the camera and lighting makes me see it differently on yours. I also really like the darker aged neck look, but aren’t they nitro cellulose anyways, meaning they will darken and age with time? I have spotted one on reverb that is a 2023 model and is just an opened box model.. and marked down price significantly so I might go for that! I bought a chines copy a year ago but the quality just isint all there, and the tremolo is so stiff, so I want the real deal!! Haha thanks for your input bro!
@@NlCKELODEON well they should age with time, the question is are you willing to wait 15 years or more? 🤣 mine is slightly yellow on the back where it touches skin, but the scallops aren't..
@@MagyHimself By the time I'm old and can't play fast anymore, the tint should be just where I want it! thats the harsh reality Haha The sun might help if its near a window!
@@theYuGiOhseasonzeroguy well of course, you would have to slow it down :) I couldn't do it at full speed either. Otherwise, when on x0.5, I think it is fairly easy to hear everything.
Before to see your video i didn't like this solo. Now i know how much it's difficult and i love it. I sing Malmsteen's songs, but to cover its music is really hard. Your performance is incredible, congratulations for your skills
the timing yngwie move from minor scale to pentatonic is amazing
It is a pretty cool solo indeed
0:20 to be precise , lick starts as 0:23 -- Malmsteen is a master
Just sooooo good bro
I really prefer his style when he still used a lot of blues licks in combination with (harmonic/melodic) minor stuff. Like Alcatrazz
From my favorite record! Perfect blend of all his skills in this solo. Masterful!
You re right! Thanks a lot! :D
Yngwie is the man of neo classical metal
That first lick is one of the best intros to a solo!
Absolutely! 😁
And it has only one chromatic passing note in the middle
That lick was a game changer, possibly 3 seconds of guitar that was responsible for wrecking a million rewind buttons on tape players.

Thanks so much! Yes, I pretty much got his technique all down :) but playing it live, thats a whole different thing 😁

that lick at 18 seconds were you slide up from the 19th fret to the 20th....epic!
Yeah thats a cool one :)
From Beautiful Baroque to a bit of blues, thanks for showing us this!
Glad you liked it!
I've loved Yngwie Malmsteen since I was 16 in HS. I hope to see him live before I go to see the Lord.
I feel you man! It's been almost 10 years since he's been to Eastern Europe where I'm located :) haven't seen him either!
Please go first chance you get. The live performance is so powerful it just blows your mind. You won't regret it.
That’s what it is amazing cover 🎉❤
Thanks! :D
Oooooo that tone!!!! In my opinion the best yngwie ever sounded! Great cover that mate
Thanks so much!
Fantastic solo and playing. My favourite YJM solo and song. Thanks for sharing. Fab camera angle and framing too.
Thank you Tommy, I really appreciate the kind words!
Bloody job..perfect❤
Thanks!
Bro, that is complete perfection.🎉
Thank you, Erich! :D
what an amazing tone!!! omg
Thanks so much!
excellent
Thanks!
Very clean picking. Something I have yet to master.
Thank you! :D
Killer. You make this look easy!
Haha thanks so much, Marlin! 😁
It's Marlin. Like the fish. What pick are you using?
@@marlinhall8298 my bad, I need myself a pair of glasses! I mostly use two picks, either Dunlop Flow 1.14 or the Yngwie yellow signature.
I've got a pick that Yngwie played at G3 and then kicked it to me in the 2nd row. It is thick as Fudge but awesome for sweeping and such. Rock on!
Well played
Thanks!
Unbelievable chops 🔥🔥
Thank you!
Beautiful and perfect!!!
Thanks a lot! :D
Parfait 👍
Merci!
That's brilliant🎉🎉🎉
Thank you!

Thanks!
👍 Great 👍
Thanks!
Fkn' A+ , Brother!!😮~*
Thanks Joseph! 😎
YEEEEEAAAAA 🤟👌👏
I thought it was Malmsteen lost weight, but then I realized that you play cleaner than him.
Haha, thanks so much!
Was good but no way cleaner than Yngwie
sick playing and tone! can i ask how you get that delicious tone?
Thanks! Sure, here you go th-cam.com/video/PzQckTn7e40/w-d-xo.htmlsi=163BCDFUR2P7Oqnh
Would you ever post some yngwie solos at a slower bpm?
Probably not for now :) many licks I improvise because they're so deep in my muscle memory and when I slow down, I lose it all 🤣
🤘😎🤘

I submitted you as one of the best Yngwie masters. You aren't know enough but I helped a little with that!
Thanks so much Jeff, I really appreciate it! :)
讚啦!太厲害了!
Thanks!
How did you learn the solo? By ear? Tab?
Always by ear
@Magy Himself very impressive. I consider myself to have a pretty good ear. But I think even I would struggle with this.

Con que grabas tu sonido?
I record it in Reaper.
@@MagyHimself thanks
