I don't know if you still want an answer or not, but I just use water to thin down standard Vallejo acrylic paints. Just bring it to the consistency of milk and spray away.
Awsome paint job! The airbrush realy give a nice smooth color and beautifull shades. You inspire me into painting my Louen Leoncoeur on Hypogriph from the old edition with some of your technics.
when i see that i really would love to paint a littlebit with an airbrush as well but is there any way that i can use my Vallejo game colors without buying theyre airbrush colors?
He used Old Gold and White Gold (for highlighting) from the Vallejo Liquid Gold range. In thetutorial "How to use Vallejo Liquid Gold Paints" he shows how to work with this kind of colors:
Yet again, a fantastic tutorial. Can you please show us all how you thin your paints ready for putting in your airbrush? It would help me a lot. I always end up mixing so much that gets wasted or its to thick to use. That video would be great. Many thanks
Fantastic results and an excellent tutorial...My only concern about painting parts separately, is what to do with seam problems that are not apparent until you put them together...I am sure with your talent, you can repair, blend and cover any issues, but in my case, I am not so sure, but I have this model and I am going to take your approach when I get around to it...Jim.
Love watching your painting its beautiful, really hope someone orders some ogre kingdoms for you to paint, no idea how you would airbrush the skin on those. Keep up the good work :)
This is one of the most beautiful miniatures I've seen you paint. I would adiquirir one but myself to paint. Just do not do that after seeing her, I never settle for my painting. How much would it cost me one of these well painted, and shipped to Brazil? Congratulations on the canal! I love your videos. Brazilian hugs to you!
hi, i think ur videos are amazing , thinking of getting myself an airbrush and compressor! just wanted to ask , when you paint parts seperately and you come to put them together ,what do you do if you have a gap?? do you prep the model and make sure there isnt any and what if you have to fill gaps??? excellent techniques! i collect and paint lord of the rings and even though i havent seen any of your videos with lotr minis in i have used your techniques and my painting as improved thanks!!!!!
If its the same as the color he used on the High Elf Swordmasters of Hoeth (and it looks like it is in that video) its a mix of Night Blue and Enchanted Blue, highlighted with a mix of Enchanted Blue and white.
+Connor Brooks But yeah getting a couple of models from BuyPainted would be sweet and a great honor in my opinion. I prefer to do things myself though. But I love watching others paint their way.
Another beautiful paint job. Hell, even the overspray on the paper look's great. Thanks
for doing these great videos.
It looks pretty good already, and then you add the washes and its BOOM.
Wow, once again very beautifull and crisp painting!

i have a question: for the color degree (brown - white) the brown base should be fresh? or is it dry and then u apply white?
@CountryMaster16 Yes, you can use Game Colors, but you have to buy the Glaze Medium and thinner to thin them down for airbrushing.
Very well done as usual!

You move the airbrush like a robot. Truely amazing. How do you get such a smooth texture and vibrant gold? It looks real !!

Do you sell your work? because I suck at painting and yoursnlook amazing
+Connor Brooks You can always learn to paint better if you think you suck. :) I don't mean to come off as a besserwisser, but that's just my advice.

How to paint High Elf dragon prince? :-)

There is no right or wrong when choosing a color scheme. That's the beauty of being able to paint your own army, you can pick the colors.

yup, my elves have blue details and red robes, there's no rule agaisnt it
I agree with this, you could paint some horses, thank you very much ;)
