I always have to applaud these guys and everything they do for the level of creativity they bring to the table. It brings a genuine smile to my face to see them jamming on their crazy inventions. You can feel their satisfaction each time from pulling off such a unique idea. And it's not just an novelty too, it's real music. It just comes together so well. It's truly a special group of people.

I get some real Yo La Tengo vibes from the solo at 5:05, the way it rides that line between cohesive melodic ideas and just chaotic screeching before eventually settling back down. Yo La Tengo is probably my favorite band btw, so that's a big compliment lol (I know it's all one person but that bit just *feels* more like a solo haha)
At this point famous instrument crafters should be begging you to partner with them in the development of a purpose built fan instrument. I'd love to see what you could make partnered with Korg, Roland or Ibanez.

The "blades" spinning is part of the way that the instrument works, so it has to be able to spin. 😁
