Well, deflection blaster bolts from handweapons, aimed at a heavily armored tank is not what I would call efficient. What helps, however, is, that she can oversee the battle from that point.

Making sure to keep at least one piece of heavy weaponry safe and effective seems to be a good strategy.

I can’t help but notice the great teamwork in this battle. Plo Koon covers the gunships as they travel to the surface, then saves Warthog by shooting down two Vultures. Obi-Wan fights side-by-side with Anakin for almost the entire battle and pulls him out of the way of the crashing fighter. It’s seriously inspiring to see the Jedi and clones working together.

Star Wars rebels focuses more on the early rebellion, mostly hit and run tactics and guerrilla warfare. They're limited to what little they have.

This might be reaching, but I’m almost certain the way in which Rex says “We! Are! Leaving!” is a slight reference to the Crew Expendable mission in CoD 4 where Price says that line in the exact same way. Same inflection, everything.
