I had the honor of giving a lecture inside this masterpiece many years ago. It is amazing how Kahn made a building that isn't even close to being an actual cube appear to be one. It is also amazing that after all these decades since the building was completed.... Exeter still hasn't constructed the brick plaza that Kahn designed for the front of the building... further defining this building as the heart of the campus. Nonetheless, this is a masterpiece and still one of the best libraries ever designed and built in the world... pre-computer!
