When the father died, the son placed his mother in a nursing home, and he used to visit her from time to time. One time, he received a call from the nursing home informing him that his mother was at the point of death, so the son hurried to see his mother before she left this life. He asked her, 'What do you want me to do for you, Mother?' The mother said, 'Well, I want you to put fans in the nursing home because they don't have any, and to provide refrigerators for good food as I have slept many times without eating.' The son responded in astonishment, 'Now you ask for these things while you are at the point of death! But you never complained before!' The mother sadly replied, 'Yes, my son, I have adapted to the heat and hunger, but I fear for you not to adapt to them when your children bring you here when you become a very old man.'"
