I would not get rid of it. I would keep it and just keep looking 4 one. Cuz what if u sale it and then can naver find one. Then u dont have one and u dont see them like that anymore. That was the best size madal they ever made. I had one back when I was a kid and would love to find another one to b able to build again. But that wont ever happen. So trust me u don't want to get rid of it.
One question for you my friend Are you "freakin" crazy. That's a Beautiful rig! You put alot of blood'sweat and tears in it. All the detail and the custom work. How can you put a price on that. I have two petes,the KW aerodyne and the KW flat top. Built the Aerodyne, one pete was a junkyard i'm rebuilding and the other two are new. I don't think I could part with any of them. But I must admit you got me thinking....

Very nice build but I think you should be patient and wait for the prices to go down on these, right now everyone is trying to retire on selling one of these forgetting it's just plastic and there isn't an official collector price guide for this kit, I don't like the estate sellers on eBay as there the ones driving unrealistic prices on model kits, forgetting it's only a hobby not a necessity, paying bills and feeding a family or buying a model, hmmmmm 🤔, I think priorities come first, so realize all these idiots charging $500.00 bucks for a model kit will get a reality check when they see how much the relisting fee's are once the overpriced kit has been sitting for quite sometime on eBay, I love it when one day a kit list for $350.00 to $1,200.00 and the next day it's reissued for $36.00 bucks lol. Nobody right now has this kind of money to pay on a model so yeah, I'm with you on not willing to pay that much for a model. Good luck to you and I hope you don't have to get rid of that 359 and trailer, you've got alot of work and love into that.
Very true Joe. That kit is awsome and they want so much for them. I wish I could find another , cUzs I really don't wanna sell my old one for a new but,just like u said the prices are over rated. Be glad when they reissue it again as long as revell gets it together
@@pete3790249 I agree, they've reissue the tractors several times but not the trailer, kinda like ertl only releasing the 4270 and 4070A plus the logger and reefer trailer only once, don't understand it. My brother was smart, he bought all 1/16 truck kits in bulk, he has several of each and all the re-released issues, my favorite was the Kenworth flat top, the Pete needs two air cans for sporting a cat motor, cat's love to breathe.
@@josephcox1811 the flat top kw was my very first 116 scale then i came up on aerodyne, my dog chewed up the flat top so I ended up with aerodyne, I went to the truck show down here in Louisville and I snagged a 116 pete for 120$ I said hell I'm buying it that's the best deal I ever seen. The one kit I want to see back out is the international cabover for scale 132. It was snap kit. Im sure u remember it but I would love to customize some old 132 kits. Even the Ford l9000 cabover kit for 132 was a awsome.
I want to snag up a autocar diesel amt kit and make the over the top daycare tractor That would be awesome model or even making the volvo truck he drove st the end of the movie

ModelRoundUp has a scratch and dent kit. Selling it for 150 says the box is damaged. Just FYI.
