I haven't noticed any scripting yet which is amazing (even though it's probably there somewhere in the background). It's looking promising though. Edit - still scripted like hell. After winning about 10 games in a row, it suddenly became basically impossible to score easy goals. So boring..
They should have an option where you can turn off the crowd, so at least it sounds like an empty stadium if nothing else. Also, stadiums are never full like this, especially in the lower leagues. To be fair the pre-match cut screen shows partially empty seats, but not the actual game.

I'm new to this whole FIFA vs. PES discussion. But I want to ask if there is any FIFA player here who can tell me why on Earth can't I do ANYTHING with my defense to stop an attack in FIFA. My players just don't go anywhere near the CPU players, and when they do, I use the shooting button to quit the ball, but it ends up being foul every single time.

This game looks scripted so the player controller has a better chance to try and win. Who chip passes instead of a through ball clear 1v1 at min 3ish.
