Thanks again MUSKRAT for lettin us Tag along.. Was a great video to watch today. As it's a gloomy 37° & flurries today after last week's 77-78° days three in a row..Here in the Far Great Northeast.Happy day to you and Miss Cindy Sir ✌️✝️✌️🌱☀️🌱🌼🌼🌞🌞
Wish I could of been there this year truck broke down in Jacksonville fl turbo charger went out so maybe next year hope you have a great summer I should make it out in sept hope to see ya then ,,,,,
Thanks Gary .That was fun to watch and some beautiful horses. I thought I saw The Lone Ranger out there but probably an imposter. I always liked the horse Ben Cartwright rode too but I don't know what you call it. I bet you could use some rest.
Interesting indeed. Owning a horse in these parts today is nostalgic. Another casualty of technology. We have an indigenous breed of pony that is now on the threatened list. Everyone used to own one at one time but modern mechanization took a heavy toll on them. Now there are only about 100 left. Thanks for sharing.
Very interesting! Both of our horses died last year. I miss them a lot, but they are expensive to feed and care for. We still have an old mule, about 40, and 2 burros, both about 30 years old.
Some well mannered horses there. I've trained a lot of horses and it takes countless hours to get them to that stage. Thanks for sharing this my Friend. I really enjoyed it.
That painted horse was gorgeous. Of course I don’t know much other than what I think looks good. Sure sounded like the auctioneer thought they should’ve been selling for more. I’ve been to a lot of antique auctions and I always have enjoyed them. 👍👍
It was! Snow camo on that horse! Yeah, they should have gone higher on most of them. Even so, it's a lot of money. A sign of a depressed economy I'm thinking.
Personally, I prefer some dogs with an onion or two mixed in. But, you know how it is, to each his own. What you on about? This is an amazing exhibition of one of the most wholesome activities pursued by decent, wholesome folks, brought to you, in video, by a person who is an outstanding example of just that - Muskrat Outdoors. Apologies if I've misread your intent but, I'll err on the side of better sense.
I realized two things. Firstly, one live Horsepower costs a lot more than an HP in car engine. Second, there's nobody who could speak faster than the auctioneer was calling out horse prices. Nice video!
Someone willing to pay it. None of them are really worth that much in my opinion. No animal is. They could drop dead any time. On the other hand, they are the ultimate off road vehicle. You can go anywhere, road or no road. In the wilderness areas, motors or wheels are not allowed. If you want to go, you do it on foot or the back of a good horse or mule. There is some amazing country to see, and that makes them worth their weight in gold.
Looks like a great venue to have in your town ... thanks for sharing !
It is! It's a big draw for folks all over the country.

Thank you Kenny! Yeah, back to cold and snow here too......getting mighty tired of it.
Excellent! Your display of wares looks good. Keep em coming! Stay safe out there. From the great free State of Idaho!
Thank you very much! My poor old leather box is getting kind of worn out. I need to build a better one.
Loved this!! You folks take care and be safe up there!!
Thank you! You too.

Ha! It wouldn't surprise me if he was here! I don't recall Ben's horse, I'll have to take a look. I haven't seen that show in a long time.

It does. Lots of horses and mules out there, but really good ones that you can trust, are hard to come by.
Thank you for sharing brother! Sure seems like some great deals!! Quality horses for sure!
There's some really good ones!

There really are Al. Too bad they cost so much!
Those were some high falootin horses. Interesting to watch though. Hope ya made some good money there!
There sure are! We sold somewhere around $800? Maybe a bit more. I'm not 100% sure since we bought a few things too.

@@MuskratOutdoors yes i know but man those dog’s are amazing
Question: Are these horses and mules animals that ranchers and others specifically raise and train for sale?
A lot of them are. Not just local though, people bring horses/mules from all over the country for this sale. The Amish ones do really well.
I realized two things. Firstly, one live Horsepower costs a lot more than an HP in car engine. Second, there's nobody who could speak faster than the auctioneer was calling out horse prices. Nice video!
HA! 100% RIGHT ON BOTH!! Pretty fun though!
Stupid question, what makes a mule worth 20,000
