THE best video I’ve seen about the nitty-gritty of independent watchmaking. I ordered my Habring2 Felix last week, before seeing this video and now I’m even more excited about the watch.

Outstanding content. Baffles my mind how so few people choose to view. Thanks for making available.

With so many popular YT channels featuring beautiful and expensive watches, it also baffles me how this channel is not more popular.

What a great video. As others noted, interesting that given how “collectors” often pride themselves for the degree of connoisseurship in the hobby, so few views. Bravo HSNY and Mr And Ms Habring for sharing this. Thanks.

🥇 wow 😲 what a honest and open brand 👍 never thought the 7750 could get this good hand wound and monopusher 🏆

There was a manual wind version of 7750 called 7760. And IWC went bonkers with redesigning the 7750.
Longines under Swatch made a tonne of modification including a mono-pusher and also a column wheel.

Tippy Kaffu !!! I always thought that type of complications were only available for in-house movements or maybe things like Lemania o Minerva, I have seen silicon spring 7750 in Hamilton intramatic and co-axial escapement 7750 in Speedmaster Racing plus COSC but not a monopusher 👍 cheers 🍺

@@alberto6439 No, any complication can be put into any movements as long as the person is capable.
You can look Ulysse Nardin making a watch from a 2892-A2 with a tonne of complication and also extremely efficient.

Sellita provides a manual winding monopusher Chrono to anyone who wants one like maybe Habring2 here, look up Sellita SW510M MPC.

@@dimman77 thanks for the input, I had a quick look for the sw510MP and couldn’t find anything worthy and for the price asked for a sellita monopusher is better to save up and go for the Minerva monopusher caliber. Cheers

I love this philosophy. I wonder what prices will those 1off prototypes gain in 10 years. Maybe there could be in future 1offs in lange finish next to this well priced pices so they get some hh prices too so more people here of them because this is great!

Although there was some rationale for IWC to go in-house I believe it’s mostly a matter of meeting a market demand created by IWC and other manufacturers. I still want my Sellita movements so as not to be in the hands of these manufacturers.
