Thanks for posting this is classic beauty and class all the way. I wish I were back! The Gabors were in a class all to themselves and were honest as can be. I wish I could hear accents like theirs again... Where is this in Hollywood it needs to come back!
I love Eva so very much.... I think she was a sweet, witty, and stunningly beautiful woman. I wish I could have met her; she died only a year after I was born. I love her on "Green Acres" (she stole the show) and I think she had impeccable class.
Eva was the idol of my youth. She became my idol when I first saw her on Green Acres. She was definitely one of the most beautiful and glamorous women in all of Hollywood. I even collect pictures of her; mainly from her Green Acres days. That was the period when she was at her most glamorous. Unfortunately, the Fourth of July marks the 20th anniversary of her going off to TV Heaven. Seems like only yesterday that my mother gave me the bad news. I was even crying on and off for two years over her.It took me five years to get over it initially. Then in June of 2012, Me TV brought back Green Acres as part of its Summer of Me program. Once again, I found myself where I was 15 years earlier; just crying on and off. I was just so depressed. I told my doctor about it, and she put me on Abilify and recommended group therapy. I am over it now. To me, Eva Gabor is not dead! She's alive today in spirit, and she's in a much better place. Every Fourth of July, I pause for 74 seconds of silence; one second for each year that she lived on this earth. This is how I commemorate the Fourth of July. To me, EVA GABOR STILL LIVES!
death is not natural. that is why we grieve so for our loved ones. i have always been a fan of Evas. classy gal. in Gods memory, she is just, 'asleep', in death. God promises to raise all in the memorial tombs back to life on planet earth, with the opportunity, as the Bible says, 'to live everlastingly, on a paradise earth where there will be no more sickness or death.' i miss her, Eddy Albert and so many other entertainers that were part of my childhood during better days. we have all lost loved ones. as Jesus said, "get a hold of the real life." his awaited promised kingdom will be the real life. when my dear young daughter in law died a tragic death, the minister gave a wonderful illustration .. he said that a Christians journey is like we are all on a passenger train with the same destination, paradise. some of us are in the cafe car, some of us in the lounge car and some of us are in the sleeping car. we can not see the ones in the sleeping car, but when the train arrives at the destination, paradise Earth, then again, we will see those that were in the sleeping (death) car. I thought that that was a beautiful illustration and gave me comfort. beautiful Eva is just sleeping and God will renew everyones health and beauty. I can not wait!!!!! I hope this gives some comfort to you.......Peace
*Dearest Nan, the fact that Eva's demise affected you so strongly proves how deep your connection to her was. She was so delicate, beautiful, and intelligent--a very coveted and rare combination. I applaud you for your admiration of this exceptional lady. Eva was definitely one-of-a-kind. Also, I hope that you are doing well by focusing on the positive, indelible memories with which she left us. I, too, am forever an Eva fan!-----Katherine*
Eva was a rich socialite way before the wig company ( the wig company was just a time killer, it gave her something to do ) . Her father was a vey successeful jeweler in hungary. Thats where all the real money came from. Not wigs
Classy, funny ladies... the Gabor sisters. I wonder what the older sister was like... I believe there were three girls in the family. BTW, those wigs are pretty cool, too. Would be fun to try one on....
She and her sisters were, I think, the first of the _People Who Are Famous For Being Famous_ without actually doing anything to be _Famous For._ The Kardashian's Mod 1. LOL. I did love seeing her on the Merv Griffon Shows.
Please don't insult the Gabors by likening them to the Kardashians. It's like comparing Dom Perignon to unrefrigerated Schlitz beer that's been sitting out for several days. And please don't insult them by suggesting that they were "famous for being famous without actually doing anything to be famous for"; it spreads a gross falsehood and makes you look ignorant in the bargain. Aside from their astounding beauty, elegance and continental charm they have MANY legitimate credits as actresses. Eva starred on Broadway and, of course, was the star/lead of one of the most beloved television series of all time, Green Acres, which ran for six seasons. Zsa Zsa in her younger days acted in films directed by John Ford, Vincente Minnelli and Orson Welles, three of the most famous and critically adored filmmakers of all times (and the films in which she appeared are regarded as among their finest). Eva also worked for Vincente Minnelli. She was fifth-billed in Gigi, a film considered to be among the greatest musicals of all time. If you are not aware of these accomplishments, you have some major catching up to do.
Were you high when you wrote such utter bull shit. That "host" with "black" hair looked great in her natural hair. And hair styles of the 80's were FUNNY and BIG HAIR. Not good with the chemicals yet it was ART and FLARE. Yet Hair Styles during the mid-60's & 70's were also MEGA FUN!! NOW almost no one has style or fun in FASHION! Very BORING times in fashion & music. Times are actually DEPRESSING with no passion for FUN FASHIONS.
I was alive back then, about 22 years old. Not only did I not dress like that, I didnt know anyone that did, except for those on the television shows Dynasty and Knots Landing. I hope that gal with the Grace Jones looking hair kept that wig...
I worked for Eva Gabor Int in Kansas City for 17 yrs .....what a lovely lovely lady.......sadly she left us way to soon.......
Really, wow ❤ eva & zsa zsa very gorgeous sister, eva had more charm & personality
That's amazing
tell us more please. What was she doing in Kansas?
Eva had what so few do especially these last two decades. Class and a sense of humor.

Nan Fagan That's one of the most bizarre confessions I've ever read…but good for you for having the chutzpa to put it out there! :)
I usually commemorate the Fourth of July by celebrating the creation and freedom of our country but ok lol

Yikes. Just a celebrity and a seemingly nice person. We all die, Lisa.
Eva is by far the prettiest of the gabor sisters!!
And according to most, also the nicest
I Will Never Forget You Miss Bianca, Even Though You Passed Away 9 Months Before I Was Born :(
Eva was a gentle soul.
I always think you can get a sense for who she was by watching her on Match Game. She was a hoot and had a ball. Wish I could have known her.
Eva is pure charm and class! I loved her as Lisa Douglas on Green acres!
i absolutely adore her accent. shes such a sweet and classy lady
The three sisters got married so many times. They were all so beautiful and all of them had that strange laugh :)
Not that many ☺ and even if it was 100 times, AND SO WHAT! Bless everyone.
@@alkvirjkinta2987 WTF?
I love Eva AND Zsa Zsa. Both very beautiful, smart witty women. I hope they are together again after Zsa Zsa just died last week.
Lovely Eva Gabor!! :-))
We Hungarian mix the meat with the patato. :-)
I think she is just so perfect I miss her so.
EVA WAS A CLASS ACT !
"I'm sorry, I never grew up! Sue me!" It's okay Eva I'm short too!
Eva was a rich socialite way before the wig company ( the wig company was just a time killer, it gave her something to do ) . Her father was a vey successeful jeweler in hungary. Thats where all the real money came from. Not wigs
The nicest of all the sisters, I would not want to be married to her, but she would have made a great friend.
Me too! She is so lovely and friendly.
very very true..you hit the nail right on the head..
I'm sorry, but between the three of them the show should have been called Shoulder Pads. Great to see Eva Gabor again though. Classy lady.
Eva is adorable
She and Zsa Zsa look like twins !
❤ eva gabor &zsa zsa her gorgeous sister
I totally thought the blond host was Dianne sawyer. love u eva.
How does their natural hair still look perfect after they take the wigs off?
Classy, funny ladies... the Gabor sisters. I wonder what the older sister was like... I believe there were three girls in the family. BTW, those wigs are pretty cool, too. Would be fun to try one on....
Lovely lady Eva Gabor.
I KNOW!! You've got it..... you never see anything like that anymore! =(
She and her sisters were, I think, the first of the _People Who Are Famous For Being Famous_ without actually doing anything to be _Famous For._ The Kardashian's Mod 1. LOL.
I did love seeing her on the Merv Griffon Shows.
It took a while for Eva to become well known for a real project - 'Green Acres'.
@@frenchjr25 She got that part because she fit the persona perfectly.
The sisters were Comedians as well and Business Women. Not just Famous for been Famous.

I should remember these two but I'm glad I don't. I 💖Eva Gabor so much!
The fruits killed, it all started with a strawberry and it went down hill from there, she was the best.
the black wig looked really good on the host, better than that severe hairdo from the 80s lol

@Angie H. Sorry, but I'm not sure what all you are saying.
She died too young just ETERNAL Grace Style & CLASS!! Xxo
theirs Sheila from days of our life.
❤❤❤
I thought the blonde was Dianne sawyer
the audio is terrible.
One of the disadvantages of working with legacy material. You never know how the audio is going to turn out.
must be about 1985 -7
she reminds me of kris jenner.. lady with dark hair
Whoever replied to this talking shit READ. I said the lady with the dark hair not Eva you dumb ass.
By the hair this has to be late 70s or early 80s
I eat very good I’m a hungarian lol
eva was such a nice lovely lady but she never had that outspoken free spirit that zsa zsa had...
look at those shoulder pads! woo.
Back when women in their 70s didn't mind wearing heels if they so choose.
Watched a few interviews with Eva Gabor... She's nice but definitely prefer Zsa Zsa....
Wow, women sure used to dress funny in the 80's! They all had big shoulders and even bigger hair!
Eva alot more charming &greater personality than her gorgeous & prettier sister zsa gabor
Dano drunk?
What horrible clothes and hair from this era.
davidrbecken It was on trend back then, you would have dressed up like that too....lol
I was alive back then, about 22 years old. Not only did I not dress like that, I didnt know anyone that did, except for those on the television shows Dynasty and Knots Landing. I hope that gal with the Grace Jones looking hair kept that wig...
davidrbecken lol
Don't worry, she's changed her hairdo since then: www.pinterest.com/pin/482377810069281882/
3 man... I can see it so clearly now. Squared mandibles.
The blonde didn’t speak the whole time
what? feminism is about equality...and moving away from objectifying women as sexual objects
linda dana is slurring. she on tranquilizers or booze?
There acting so silly with the wigs...I don't think Eva likes that
