Session Tunes: The Starry Lane to Monaghan

Belfast flute ace Gary Duffy started this tune in the session the other week. I had learned it and forgotten it, so was glad to be reminded.
It's a composition of County Cavan-born/ US fiddler Ed Reavy. It works pretty well on the flute despite its dipping down a bit below our range.
As always, we just fake it with the low notes playing them an octave up. Yes, sadly it's true, dearest fiddle players - we've been faking it all these years.
