This old song ,its a story that is happening right now... It talks about a husband and wife,the husband leaves to go work overseas... Looking for a chance of a better life for the wife and kids..He heard stories that the wife is going around with other men..The same story the wife is hearing, the husband is going around with other women's..So they argue, you are not so good looking, there's other people,go your way I go my way..Then they ended up devoicing each other... it's happening a lot right now in Tonga in this seasonal workers program...Many families are broken apart.. 😢😢😢

I first heard this in Teufaiva in 1977 performed by the Kolisi Fakafaiako. I was 14 years old at the time. I heard this again 47 years later and still remember the lyrics. I now live in Auckland New Zealand and off course I don't have that 'Fu'u Mauri oku fa'a lau mai ' lol. You can't go wrong with a Sofele Kakala fa'u.
