I bought this on the strength of your review. The best way I can compare this to LV afternoon swim is in this way: LV is like a freshly opened bottle of orange Fanta and North Stag IV is like a can of orange crush that has lost a bit of carbonation. Still good but LV feels much more energetic and fizzy to me.
Everything you said about the North Stag is spot on. I have the original and the North Stag on strips and the North stag definitely emphasises the Mandarin note. The original AS has a light leathery feel that the NS does not have in the opening. They definitely get closer in the dry down but I must say that the NS is substantially stronger and is out performing the original by a mile.
I just went to the Louis Vouitton shop and tried Afternoon Swim and its AMAZING!!!...............are you sure, you actually prefer the clone?......if so I will blind buy it inmediately!!
Hey I personally do but I wouldnt make that decision strictly based on my opinion. If you think a heavier mandarin emphasis would be more enjoyable for you then I think you would also really like The Paris Corner. If you like the way AS smells, go with the Lucianno Sunset Swim.

I bought this and I’m not sure if it needs to macerate or what but the longevity is ass. I’m talking like 3 hours TOPS, in an air conditioned environment where you’re not sweating it off. I ordered decants of Alexandria’s and luciannos version, trying to find the best one. If neither of those satisfy I’ll try montagnes.
Mine lasts 6-8 hrs. You need to let it macerate for sure, all these middle eastern clones require to be sprayed around 20-50 times atleast then left to sit for a few months in a dark closet an then proceed back to normal use an it should improve well over a month or so of re using it again.
I also noticed just simply using these clones daily they will improve over time after being used daily. I had a bottle from armaf that improved an transformed into a stronger smoother fragrance over a 6 month period of using it every other day

Thanks, so far i seem to be getting a little more longevity from Afternoon Swim but hopefully the longevity on my bottle gets better as it sits.
It’s a big ol tangerine/mandarin bomb, worth the purchase mine fresh out the box 6 hrs, super strong 💪.

In the US, the date format is year then day then month. Everywhere else in the world, it's day, month then year. Hope that helps.

Lucianno if you want the most accurate clone to Afternoon Swim and can still find it. North Stag if you want a more amped up orange note.
