The mission where Semine helps you find the Blacksmith's cart ended up being really easy and helpful early on. Sir Semine and his knight take down at least 8 people, you can take all of their weapons and armor (worth around 600 for everything), plus it's easy to flank the enemies, get a few hits in and raise your warfare perks.
the mad stonemason dies in his sleep after you finish the quest. just come back the next day and you can loot him without trying to knock him out or pickpocket
One thing I've not seen people talk about, I guess because it only applies to preorders, is that the guard captain in troskawitz has frankfurt steel on him if you want to make the pre-order polearm early. Which has been my go to for bandits at low level, I ride through them with the pole arm, stab one, and keep riding, turn around repeat until they are all dead. Even shield guys have issues with mounted polearm lancing.
Or if you go with the miller quest , you can advance the blacksmith quest far enough to get the broken Toledo sword to re forge the hermits sword with , instead don’t use the Frankfurt steel for the sword and create the Brunswick bardich ( I recommend the sword and just keeping it lol) - ( IF YOU ARE GOING WITH THE MILLER QUESTLINE TO GET IN THE WEDDDING)
@thrashjf83 Same. I found a Glaive before I built the Sir Brunswick Poleaxe and man those things are much fun. I just need a 4th weapon slot and Im all set. I managed to build a Tier 4 Basilard Sword so now Im minty.
Just got to Kuttenberg and accidentally found the smugglers storehouse while trying to find the back door to the weaponsmith 😅 it's pretty great! Keep ur eyes peeled for red velvet coin bags! Found one with over 600 in it 🎉
If you are having a hard time with the chests at the bandit camp you can in fact use thiving potions that will give you +3 or +6 to thivery making your hand twich much less and making the sweet or weak spot slightly larger.
It's funny how you said the glasses look really stupid! But they are accurate in the looks for that time period. I looked it up to see how they looked.😂
15:57 the cave under trosky, whenever hanz gets imprisoned & you have to “work your way” out to getting hanz free before they hang him, as you walk up the hill to drop the bags of flour you will pass a small well, you can actually just down that well and it leads you to where you are at the time stamp, you can use it to escape or you can use it that leads into trosky dungeon and do the “stealthy” escape with hanz
Keep it up ESO. Appreciate these tips and guides. Only thing I want to ask is make sure everything is setup in a, "How can you hit all these along your way" sort of way to limit back tracking.

If you speak to the bailiff in the starting town he tells you about treasure and that leads you to the little shrine that you push the rocks aside and then dig it up, which is the bit towards the end of the video, when you dig it up it also has tier 3 gauntlets in it.
Also have a location for 3 horses you can take without consequences. Can get 350-500 gold OR SO ,from the (nomads horse black market). You can also find a black horse called Bronka in Apollonian mountains where von bergrows men’s remains are. Once you get close enough a little marker appears on the map Costs $1200 to take up ownership or you can sale it for 1/3 of the worth
Just get your horse Pebbles back. It's easy. Also rznt a room permanent in middle of map, there are also baths and ho's there... Then get the job with the miller. And also don't forget to do the blackmith quest too later on. And go and see Tomcat ASAP!
While doing the dog quest , after rescuing him from the pack of wolves , you can find a loot spot in the den, and inside is 2 rings worth 254 for one and the other like 180, and (a +101slash/106stab /16 blunt dmg - broad sword),and a mended cuirass
loved the tale of the 2 lumberjack brothers at the inn followed the story and found a burried viking era axe wich you can remake at the blacksmid the quest starts at the storyteller at the inn just above the blacksmid forge :D
I did the same thing with KCD1 and managed to get a lot even with the DLC treasure hunt... good fun Im excited to do my own treasure hunts and ill have them up later on in the month good guide as always ESO RIGHT im off to Florida for a 2 week hol then bam on this game :)
another thing about the cave below trosky that you didn't mention is that there is a carving of a demon, a pentagram and some words I can't read on the wall which I guess ties into the whole Trosky built on a gateway to hell thing.
Spoilers for people that haven’t gotten into Trosky yet. The cave with the moonshine that you didn’t know where the light came from is the bottom of the well next to the horses. When you’re trying to break Hans out, if you help the worker by fixing his axe, he tells you that a buddy of his climbed down the well and entered the dungeons that way, but he got caught and they took down the struts to climb down. If you go to the well and look at the edge, it gives you the option to jump in.
I found that abandoned camp at apenollia, and there was a black horse in the paddock called Vranik. None of my friends found him. I couldn't get him out either. Any one else find the horse and figured out how to get him out?
Make a video where you can get a field crossbow, that is not old. The old field crossbow does 300 base damage, but I'm sure there are much stronger variant somewhere.
You should show the map from time to time, I wanted the last item (knights sword) I dont want to follow your whole trail until you found it, I want to go there quickly...

Uhm I broke the game within like the first few hours of playing for the very first time on accident lol I picked a bunch fo very easy and easy locks in the starting town knowing it was the only way to level up. Then I made my way to the blacksmith because it seemed like the thing to do, I heard he gives me a bed. I slept in the bed, learned how to blacksmith horseshoes for an hour.. then night fell. There was a chest in his house with Hard difficulty, it took me a few tries but I managed to unlock it and ... So I just literally stole every single top tier sword, hammer, glaive, and piece of armor and pretty much everything else then crawled to my chest and dumped it all in there. A few days of waiting around eating honey and none of it is counted as stolen anymore. And guess what, his stock is completely back. I can only assume I can break back into this and steal everything all over again and just have an infinite supply of weapons, ammo, and armor - I'm gunna try selling it back to him but he's currently kinda broke!
I love the stealth mechanics in this game, choking people out while they are sleeping is really fun! But I am thinking that I might have to do a 'no stealing' playthrough to prevent myself from breaking the game further
I can’t stop playin either Shyt fire I cliched that last mission he give u 80 groschen at the end I was able to aske him over n over again received like 400 groschen off the side quest the jaunt I was happy af it was a bug fuck it I take all the groschen I can get 😂
I feel that videos like this ruin the experience of games that are about exploration and discovery. I guess if people want to ruin the experience for themselves they can but it's really sad to see so much content that is intent on spoiling stuff in games like this.

So far I've played 17 hours, and it has not failed on me... so i dont think it's time sensitive at all.
Actually it'll auto fail and your save file will be ruined if you wait around for 2 in-game months.
