Wow Yanni, that's your best video yet! Very inspiring! The first person view really puts you in the scene and the ASMR works great (although it would be better to use a 'dead mouse' on the microphone for the wind noise I think). But for me it was also in Smell-O-Vision, especially at the start where you can smell the fresh rain on the road and the new tar being laid. I'll bet that your civil engineering brain was working overtime with those roadworks and especially the suspension bridge! 🤭 I must admit I thought 'you could easily do that ride on a Crosstourer'... I mean as long as it wasn't wet clay on the roadworks. 😉 Nice one man.
Thanks, Kent! Oh, man, I read your e-mail the other day but still didn't find some time to reply; apologies, but I will soon! You are so right. The wind noise is always a problem. I just tried to keep the setup simple and avoid using the lav mic in my helmet and the sound recorder I usually use. So, I just chose the camera's noise cancelation setting, and that was all. Things could be worse, but the position of the internal mic in Insta360 Go2 cameras is such that the direct windblast is avoided. "Smell-O-Vision", 😀you always surprise me, Kent! I had to google it! Film industry terminology, your field! Yep, I had a thorough examination of this suspension bridge before I stepped my foot on it 😁! Come on, Kent, I wouldn't even imagine being there on my Crosstourer, I am a skinny guy, and she is fat! 😊
@@MotonJoy Ha ha, yes the 300 does the job just fine. Riding over slippery mud and sand (especially with 80/20 tyres) are my biggest fears on the VFR and I'd find it almost impossible to pick up if it went down. 🐘😬 Sound syncing is always a problem, especially when using more than one camera and I need to work out a better solution too. Write to me when you get a chance, at least I am now 14,000km closer! 😉
