On the occasion of Janmashtami, the birth of Lord Krishna, let us celebrate the eternal love of Radha and Krishna. Ashtapadis are beautiful love filled poems that celebrate Sringara Bhakti. Penned by Sri Jayadeva as part of the Sri Gita Govindam Mahakavyam, the sixth Ashtapadi is set to ragam Shuddha Saarang and Misra Chapu talam. "Sakhi He"...reminisces Radha, about her first union with Sri Krishna. She tells her friend her wish to relive and recreate that experience for eternity.

But it would have been 'realistic' if the backgrounds also suits with the song :Nikunja gruham as in Vrindavan...!
Thank you. Here was my thought process. She talks about going to the "nikunja gruham" of Krishna "last night"...but currently she is back in her home, hence this location is chosen..where she is talking to her friend while sitting in the courtyard of her home.
