So glad Black series stepped up, it's probably good for them too because most viewers are going to be interested in something that's good to go like their trailers. It's beautiful too so even though we love the vintage this will be fun for you guys. I hope you guys get to meet up with the travel beans again on the road. 😊
We're definitely hoping to meet up with the beans soon! And while it's very different from Clementine, we are actually looking forward to adventures in the black series. It'll be tons of fun to try out something completely different 😅
Scotty Robinson I am so sorry you are going through a tough time at the minute. I hope that things go better for you soon. I am sending you love. Remember the community is here if you need us.
Just as a subscriber to your channel I’m bummed about the old Rv constantly having problems. I can’t imagine the behind the scenes of you guys finding out about problem after problem. I’m along for the journey no matter what so I appreciate you guys staying positive.
We really appreciate the support through everything. It's been a total roller coaster off camera these past few months. But all the issues have helped teach us to take everything in stride and find the upside of bad situations 😅 Although we definitely wish we didn't have to learn that lesson the hard way, haha!
When I was a kid back in the late 1970s, my parents bought a brand new class C motor home. It was a wonderful vehicle, and we had many adventures in it over the years. However, from the start, we had engine issues, with a broken belt leaving us stranded along the highway many times. My parents took it to be fixed many times, but it wasn't until it broke down yet again several years later that a random truck mechanic in the middle of nowhere who came to help us figured out what the problem was. I wish I could tell you the answer, but I was too young and it was too long ago, but we never had engine problems after that.
I know you’re love Clementine but I love that camper RV seems like you have more room in there it’s brighter and it feels like a home I absolutely love it
I really liked the whole process of building Clementine and I completely disagree with those who say dump her. She’s a unique jewel that needs to be kept even if she’s only an Airbnb. Hopefully the original mechanics will finally get it right and you can keep your new rig until they do. Keep after them! In the mean time you can go to places Clementine could never go.
Clementine has a small block Chevy in her, one of the most prolific car engines ever built. Manufactured from 1955 to 1999 (still manufactured in Mexico as crate engines) over 100 MILLION copies have been put into everything from moms grocery getter to an ambulance to your favorite boat. Those things are extremely easy to work on, just about bullet proof, and very very inexpensive to repair or upgrade, and capable of making lots of power. I would question the professionalism of the peeps who rebuilt that engine, and the ones that installed that engine.
I don't get it either. Sure, mistakes can be made. But the lot of mistakes and uncontrolled functions by the engine-workers are horrible and just stupid. I would have changed mechanics a long time ago. Engines, and especially those aren't really that complicated and to check functions like water-temp, oil pressure and other basics is just the freckin normal procedure. I really, really don't get it. I have no problem with it, if TEA change their vehicles every week, but it has to be stressful af for them both
Remember you can look up reviews of mechanics. There are many good reputable mechanics out there. Stay off Yelp I don't trust their reviews. Good luck with Clementine she is s beauty. I am newer subscriber love you guys so sweet.
Your ability to make lemonade from lemons is one of your most endearing qualities. You’ve had to deal with so much these past few years. Love your content. Hang in there 🥰 Just enjoy the ride.
Y’all should really just not put a time limit on your “50 States” adventure. Who cares how long it takes, y’all alway have a way of making it all interesting and fun to watch, so just breath, and chill…you got this! And we’ll all be here watching for what comes next. 😊
Here in the UK we call what you have a Caravan and they are more popular here than an RV or a Motorhome as we call them. It just means you can have your normal family car and then pull your caravan. Oh and WAY cheaper than Motorhomes. I love your new temporary home and just so chuffed for you that you can get back to your adventures 😊
Love the new camper. Youre right about it being much brighter than the coachman one. My husband of almost 40yrs(Sept.4th anne) and are leaving in 4 weeks on our 1st adventure of our camping life.
We have lived on our boat for about 14 years. I decided the shelf liner stuff was not good long term. I bought yoga mats and cut them to fit all our shelves. They do not disintegrate over time, do not have holes where crumbs can sneak into them and get the underlying shelves dirty, and are super good at holding plates and glasses on the shelves when we are underway. When I want to clean the mat shelving, I just take them outside and clean them with a scrub brush and water,
I don’t even know where to start. I have been watching your vids for several years now, and I’m insanely curious about HOW IN THE WORLD y’all have made such a quantum leap in professionalism during that very short amount of time! You claim to be ordinary people from Missouri, but honestly, ALL of the following elements of TH-cam channel professionalism have become WORLD CLASS in a scant 2 year period: 1. Content. [Every video flows beautifully within the storyline. Further, your delivery of the dialogue (including body language) is outstanding, and improving week by week!!! You are very close to the PERFECT amount of animation!! 2. Photography. [There really are no words to adequately describe the current quality of your photography, including the very, very clever camera angles and staging in and around this camper!] 3). AUDIO. [Ahhh, let’s talk about audio, one of the absolute, all-time earmarks of professional video creators, including: A) Audio Capture (know-how and equipment), and B) Audio Balancing throughout the video. [This is one of my pet peeves and I *to this day* do not understand why TH-cam can’t incorporate a software to analyze ALL uploaded videos to map the audio volume and reject those videos with audio that ranges from ridiculously soft to unbelievably loud. Y’all have learned how (or subbed out…??) to utilize the editing process to very successfully balance the audio volume so that changing the playback volume is not needed from the beginning to the end of the videos! Y’all, THIS IS HUGE!!! Sorry this was so long!
Love the new RV! It's not Clementine but it looks very reliable for your road trip. Love the interior personal touches you put it. Happy travels. Cheers from Canada.
Very cool Black series kept y'all on the road. It's like your little hotel on wheels. LOL Allison..."Back to commercials and crappy movies" Looks like y'all enjoyed your new ride and can't wait to see your first stay in the Black series. DE "virgin" the black series.
I am so glad you found a way to keep traveling hopefully the mechanic fixes everything in Clementine completely and you don't have any issues in the future.
As owners of a 2021 HQ19 Black Series trailer, we are glad to see Black Series getting some play. It is a great trailer, but has not made a big splash on youtube. We hope you take it on adventures that take advantage of the uniqueness of the HQ19. We have taken ours offroad in Big Bend National Park and it handled it like a champ. This trailer is not for driving from RV park to RV park. The luxuries of the Black Series challenge those of an airstream.
Hahaha about the different key rings and I feel your pain. My solution was to create a key ring per function. All the keys I need for hitching are on one ring; trailer door keys on another; any needed around the campsite on another. Good luck.
When you brought out Ruby, I thought, "nah, they're just messing with us". Then you rolled the intro with Ruby and the trailer and I started to doubt myself. That's quite the commitment, having that intro changed for just the one time. You almost had me there. Congrats on the Black series. Enjoy the chance to try out something new. Clementine has been around for a while, she will be there when you get back.
Great video. I love your positivity. I know there have been quite a few ups and downs. No matter where you guys go and what you guys do, it is always fun to go along with you on the adventure.
The Black series is amazing! I went to a RV show recently and looked at Different RV’s all day ,but the black series end up being my favorite. Because it was made stronger then most RV’s there even the handles to get in the Black series was sturdy even under the Black series blew my mind it was so well designed incredibly strong and well made.
Dang Guys! That's a freaking badass looking rv rig...I love your designing...have fun! Aww Clementine... if nothing She will defiantly make a fun air bnb type. 👍
Nice 'caravan', as we call it here over in Ye Olde England. Absolutely love you guys and your wonderful channel. Never stop dreaming, travelling, adverturing, entertaining and making us laugh! Peace and love from London, UK.
Just happened to see this same trailer in the park where I am currently. TH-cam must have known because it served up this video without me searching for it. Super cool!
I love how resilient you guys are! Just rolling with the punches and always keeping a positive attitude. Love it! The Travel Beans have new wheels too, so I can't wait to see your joint road trip across the USA together! 😎🛣🚐🌄
Guys, I watch ALL of your videos but I seldom comment, I am sorry about being such a "lurker". But I am SO EXCITED about your adventures with the trailer and I just love how you've turned lemons into lemonade with strawberries! You guys are the best and thank you for sharing your life on the road!
The animated intro changes with every new development!!! Sorry you guys have had a hard time but whatever you have on the road we’re here to enjoy the adventure with you. And whether Clementine is in the videos or not, we love that gal and have enjoyed the build and all the incredible work you guys did on her. Love the sexy plastic peeling scene.
I hope you make a video of the cool Airbnb cabin. The interesting places you stay in is a big part of why we started watching you so many years ago. Plus food and interesting local attractions. Please don't forget your roots!
So you sent your RV back to the mechanic who installed a brand new engine and it still has problems back there? Hopefully he's doing it for free, because you don't expect a brand new engine to give you that many problems. Warranty??
Breaks my heart to see you guys have all these problems after the love and work you put into clementine 😢 fingers crossed she gets fixed up and you can have lots of wonderful, smooth sailing adventures here on out
Holy cow!! Just coming home from our cabin in northern Wisconsin, and saw a motorhome just like Clementine (sans woodwork) at a gas station, and there was a guy under it, working on something!! 😱😱
I love the black series and I'm so happy they are working with you guys, and I can't wait for the review. Clementine will come back and I can't wait for all the adventures you guys will have with her
Great to see that you are not giving up on Clementine. 🍊 💟 She is after all brand new now and you did it all yourselves. The structure of new RVs aren't built anything like Clementine, as you discovered. They fall apart at the drop of a hat. Clementine all the way. Engine sorted and you'll be off again on all of your adventures. Can't wait!!
Black Series must be a more luxury rig. RV's are RV's they will make a great home for you while Clementine is being fixed. We also call our Rig our Home on Wheels and our second home. You already know the joy now you will really get spoiled in this baby, baby!
im really glad you guys got that I felt sp bad your last video. The same kinda happened to me. I got a sick 1990 class c Ford Lindy fixed all that had to be fixed and the first day I took her out, I think water pressure blew the water lines..smh. water damage through the entire drivers side. and stopped my generator from working . it only had 23000 original miles. nothing wrong with her, gotta get some thousands to get her fixed. good luck guys, hope tp see you down the road
It’s such a shame about beautiful Clementine and we’ll hopefully see her again. She’s got to have one of the best RV’s inside I’ve seen and you both worked so hard to get her looking the best! When I first saw the exterior of the black series, I was dreading seeing inside as it looked very different to other trailer campers! I was pleasantly surprised by the interior, so bright and light! and with the new furnishings you’ve added (I love the towels you’ve bought), it looks great and looking forward to seeing you back on the road with her… also looking forward you meeting up with the Travel Beans for some great adventures together 😊 Safe travels xx
My heart goes out to you two. You folks spent so much time and resources ,so much love in building out from the ground up ( in the heat ) on Clementine only to be succumbed to a number of set backs on the engine. On the positive side, #BlackSeries looks like an awesome 5th wheel , a definite head turner !
Lol don't feel too bad, that's a $90k RV they just got handed to them, seemingly for free, and bought a truck just to pull it for a month. They're hardly struggling.
Endless "FLEXABLE" Adventures coming soon to a screen or device near you. I LOVED the Black Series trailer and all it's amenities. Thanks for the mini tour. This is the first time I've seen one of those and I really liked it. That cabin was so beautiful. I'm looking forward to your future adventures. LOL, I'm glad you're "saving the Black Series first time" for the road. Oops, did I say that? NOPE. It's all part of the adventure. 🤣
So glad you're liking the new camper. We love our vintage gal, but it's been fun trying out something so new and beefy. We're definitely looking forward to our first night in her...but we're not looking forward to learning how to drive such a different rig 😅
We're rolling out this morning, but still keeping it close in Texas. Raining right now but the old RV is sealed tight, running strong and we're ready for some fishing! See ya out there! Glad that you have sponsors to help keep you going. Enjoy the new trailer and hope the truck is good!
So glad you found a temporary work around! This pull behind looks way better than the previous rental. Hopefully the banquette turns into a couch or something!
Idk…I think Clementine will turn into a stationary home 🤦🏻♀️…part of me feels like you guys will be happier with the ease of pulling/unhooking and moving around a little bit easier without breaking down every trip 😞. But I’m glad you have a comfortable replacement for the time being 💜
Agreed, and they said they bought a truck, not rent a truck, makes me wonder if this trailer is already theirs🤔 totally don’t blame them if they did buy it
Which... is ridiculous to me, you can get some NEW Class C's for that, not all. 95K and still need a vehicle to haul it. I know it has off road capabilities...but is it worth the extra?
That RV looks wild compared to Clementine! Glad you've got something to play around in for a while and yay for more travel! Can't wait. We actually just returned from our Europe trip (rescheduled from 2020) and totally used your York videos for inspiration before we went! We did the York Chocolate Story and Jorvik Viking Center. My kids were sold after watching. That ride in the Viking Museum is something else. So cool and weird.
No way! We had a ton of fun on that tour! So glad you got to go...and with kids in tow, I bet that was a blast! And this new RV is definitely wild. It'll be fun to figure it all out, but we're a bit nervous to learn how to drive it 😅
My wife does the same thing with the decorative pillows which we have to move around to get them out of the way. Our trailer is small, so space is limited, and I fail to see the need in things that don't serve an important purpose. I don't mind decorations, and things that make the camper "ours", but the pillows really annoy me. But.....happy wife, happy life. Luckily they don't weigh much.
Been in one of these Black Series trailers at an RV show and loved it! That's cool they let you hold on to one as they are not cheap. One of the best built trailers I've seen since Airstream.
Love how positive you guys always are ☺️ we LOVE your videos. You inspired us to start our own TH-cam channel showing our caravan adventures as a young family ☺️ all the way from England!
I thought of y’all today, spotted a class C exactly like Clementine, in Leadville CO, had to look twice or three times to make sure it was not you guys. The RV I saw was also in super great condition. I do admire y’all for tryin’ to keep up with a vintage RV, I gave away my ‘78 Road Ranger class C years ago, miss it for sure 😕 See ya on the road, have fun with the new rig 😊
Great to see the new ongoing chapter in your journey even without Clementine! Variety is the spice of life! Our caravan here in Australia is similar to your new ‘temporary’ one. Have fun with it! All those ‘buttons’ and operational items will become second nature to you! We love all those facilities it provides. Just completed a 14,500 km trip (miles? Not sure). Just love everything you do and seeing USA through your eyes!
This would make sense to have the dwelling unit and power unit as separate items. Its easier to service the power unit and not have to bring your home to the shop also. Have fun this is your home!!
Eric & Alison. So sorry you had all these issues with Clementine after all your hard work massive dedication To getting her how you wanted her . 🤦♀️ Your loan trailer looks impressive,i am sure your relief in away you can at least travel for a month ,showing us all this other way of travel you could say . Love the small details Alison to make it feel like “ Home “ as best as you can 🥰 i feel your frustration .((((( huge virtual hug ))) Sure you will have a Great time with Black series ,bring us to some awesome places ,be it a town or in Nature ❤️ Safe Travels have a Good week 🥰🥰
Be curious what you think after some miles and terrain. Black series is designed in Australia, made in China, and assembled in USA. There have been some real quality issues with these, so will be watching.
That's a $90k trailer, doubt too many viewers are heading out and picking one up with all the more affordable RV's available.
Eric and Allison I just want to say thank you for making me smile laugh and entertain when I was at my lowest & saddest lots of love guys!💯⭐️🤩❤️❤️❤️
Scotty Robinson I am so sorry you are going through a tough time at the minute. I hope that things go better for you soon. I am sending you love. Remember the community is here if you need us.
Hey Scotty! So happy to bring you a bit of lightness and goofiness. Hope you're feeling better ❤️

The loaner trailer is really nice! We know it's not your preference, but it is a pretty great alternative to postponing your raid trip 😉
So glad to hear you aren't giving up on Clementine or the road trip! Love you guys and love your never give up attitude!!👍👍👍👍💕😊
LOL The protective tape being removed to the sensual music was a hoot! Nice new animation, too!

Sheets of craft foam have become my go to shelf liner. They are a similar material as yoga mats but thinner and cheap.

Lethal Weapon is a classic and must watch… it’s the Supreme Christmas action flick!
This camper is nice.. love the interior!!

Wow! A brand new camper plugged in without using a surge protector. It only takes one surge to be a believer in using protection.

Love your optimism! Enjoy the ride, even if it's a different vehicle!
Now you have to head up to Michigan, and meet up with the Travel Beans, and continue on with your original plans. 👍🏻♥️♥️🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
They've just got the new van so should be on the road now somewhere near Michigan or not.
That's actually the plan! We can't wait to meet back up with those kiddos 🙌
Love the new RV! Cute deco too. I hope Clementine gets her final fix at the mechanic 🤦🏻♀️. Keep your heads up!
I bought a ‘76 GMC Vandura yesterday, it needs some work, but I’m ready for the challenge. I plan for FT RV in the spring.
How amazing to get that cool trailer, and a big ole truck to boot. This is going to be good!
I'm super impressed with the brand new trailer!
It looks like a fun trailer to use for a while, It'll be fun.🤞😁
I think a tow behind trailer is best anyway! You get to leave it & explore the area you are in.
Hello 👋 how are you doing?
Idk…I think Clementine will turn into a stationary home 🤦🏻♀️…part of me feels like you guys will be happier with the ease of pulling/unhooking and moving around a little bit easier without breaking down every trip 😞. But I’m glad you have a comfortable replacement for the time being 💜
Agreed, and they said they bought a truck, not rent a truck, makes me wonder if this trailer is already theirs🤔 totally don’t blame them if they did buy it
I found you two shortly before lockdown and I have been continuously in awe of how you turn lemons into lemonade.
That trailer is way nicer than most of the newer RVs I've seen. I'm guessing must not be cheap at all!
70k plus
Which... is ridiculous to me, you can get some NEW Class C's for that, not all. 95K and still need a vehicle to haul it. I know it has off road capabilities...but is it worth the extra?
You guys are hilarious!!! I am hoping all works out with Clementine but for now enjoy the one you got! It looks fun…
It'll be fun to figure it all out, but we're a bit nervous to learn how to drive it 😅
@@Theendlessadventure it's going to be awesome!
The updated intro is absolutely priceless!
Sweet! Thanks to Black Series, the stress is off your shoulders for awhile. Take a deep breath, and enjoy a few moments of unexpected fun, right?
My wife does the same thing with the decorative pillows which we have to move around to get them out of the way. Our trailer is small, so space is limited, and I fail to see the need in things that don't serve an important purpose. I don't mind decorations, and things that make the camper "ours", but the pillows really annoy me. But.....happy wife, happy life.
Luckily they don't weigh much.
🤣🤣
Love how resilient you guys are. I'm sure you must be so frustrated with the engine problems but you always find solutions!
hi i love it but if you donot mind how much did cost ? because im loooking forward to buy rv
That was a quick change in the intro! Dedicated to your work, that’s amazing!
Thank you letting me see this because I was wondering how much space it actually had me for me👍👍
I have to believe that your ac comes equipped with soft start, I was surprised you were running ac on 120.... 👍👍👍
So happy to see you have a new/temporary rig!!! Looking forward to seeing the truck too!
Hi how are you doing?
Great job with making the RV to make it feel more like home! Things will work out because you two have good attitudes! 😊
Hopefully Clementine gets well soon. In the meantime…. WOW!
I’m sorry about Clementine! Poor girl!
I love the music with the plastic coming off 😅
I thought of y’all today, spotted a class C exactly like Clementine, in Leadville CO, had to look twice or three times to make sure it was not you guys. The RV I saw was also in super great condition. I do admire y’all for tryin’ to keep up with a vintage RV, I gave away my ‘78 Road Ranger class C years ago, miss it for sure 😕 See ya on the road, have fun with the new rig 😊
Oh that's so cool camper you got , that's the one I wanted
You are soooo lucky! That's my dream travel trailer.
Not sure). Just love everything you do and seeing USA through your eyes!
you guys are very patient.
Hats off to you for staying positive
See?!! Just keep your options open and the journey always continues! Good karma on you 💕 now let the good times roll! 🚐🏔
This would make sense to have the dwelling unit and power unit as separate items. Its easier to service the power unit and not have to bring your home to the shop also. Have fun this is your home!!
Hopefully you wash all towels, all clothing etc because if you are “organic “ you want to make sure the formaldehyde’s gone.
Hello 👋 how are you doing?
Way to keep moving forward!!!!! Great Update ❤️
Wow inside very nice and bright
Enjoyable vlog and looking forward to seeing your next one now!☺️👍
Nice Black Series new RV enjoy your brand new RV it needs a massive vehicle to pull it. 👍👍👍
Just love going along with you on your adventures!
Hi how are you doing?
Eric & Alison. So sorry you had all these issues with Clementine after all your hard work massive dedication
To getting her how you wanted her . 🤦♀️
Your loan trailer looks impressive,i am sure your relief in away you can at least travel for a month ,showing us all this other way of travel you could say .
Love the small details Alison to make it feel like “ Home “ as best as you can 🥰 i feel your frustration .((((( huge virtual hug )))
Sure you will have a Great time with Black series ,bring us to some awesome places ,be it a town or in Nature ❤️
Safe Travels have a Good week 🥰🥰
Sat at the table showing your designs. Love it. It's a look
Be curious what you think after some miles and terrain. Black series is designed in Australia, made in China, and assembled in USA. There have been some real quality issues with these, so will be watching.
