Kaizers Orchestra has the most intense and passionate fan base. This was recorded in Store Vega, Copenhagen, Denmark (my country) and Danish fans are obsessed with them. Norwegian is fairly easy for Danes to understand. When Janove speaks at the end, he's just speaking Norwegian to Danes. 😁 I've seen them 4 times before they split up and they've just reunited. I'm going to their already sold out concert in KB Hallen ind Copenhagen next year. 😍
Kaizers is an incredible live band. Janove (the singer) is incredibly charismatic and connects so fast with any audience, and it makes for some unique and engaging concerts. My all time favorite concert experience is with Kaizers and "Min kvite russer" with Janove basically directing the audience to sing the whole song.
I love the part where he's speaking Norwegian in the intermezzo, he said "My son was born on a monday, so that is my favorite monday. My daughter was born on a friday *Smiles and points* This is my favorite thursday" so fucking random, it's hilarious.
I've seen Kaizers live five times. The first concert was in a really small venue (Rytmeposten on Odense, Denmark) with at small stage and low ceiling. The place was litterally packed and at a point in the concert the humidity in the room condensated on the ceiling and it started dripping. It was litteraly raining inside...!!! It was WILD...!!! I miss them like crazy. One year they were voted the best live act in Denmark, beating bands like Metallica and Radiohead. SAVE ME KAIZER...!!!
Undoubtedly the best live band that Norway has had. Was at a concert with them before they left. The band is from Stavanger, the same city where Aurora was born. They sing in dialect, so it is not so easy, even for many Norwegians, to get all the lyrics

Kaizers Orchestra is perhaps one of the most special bands the latest 20 years. When they started ab. 2000, they declared that the world did not need another rock band doing the same as all other rock bands. So they created their own unique style. They had a huge fan base in Scandinavia singing on their own Norwegian dialect and not in English. That's probably why they never got the world wide fame many mean they deserved. In 2013 they took a break to do other things in life. Rumours said they were to give concerts again by now, but the pandemic... They are perhaps best at performing live with complete command of the audience, and the videos from this concert in Copenhagen 2006 show clearly the magic of their concerts.
