Just reminiscing: I am Chicago and House Music - proud to say I was a part of that special era and time, such fond memories. We love you always Frankie!!!
Have a great memory of hearing Frankie open his set with this at a big beach party in Dubai a year or two before he died. I was so happy to see him play live for the first time. Sadly the idiotic promoters put him on first. This legend of a man was basically a warm up for acts that weren't fit to grace the same stage as him. I guess that's Dubai for you. Totally clueless about the history of house and the people who shaped it. House music isn't the same without him but he left us some great tunes.
My all time fave song from the Godfather of HOUSE..your influence on House music will be truly missed..this song always makes me feel happy inside..and so I say..God speed Mr Knuckles R.I.P
Escuche esta pieza por primera vez esta semana, en un set de Mike Dunn no se alcanzan a imaginar lo enamorado que estoy del house de Chicago bendiciones y que todo el que pueda disfrute de esta música que toca el alma
Dante Ross .... nice shout Mr. Ross. Is this the real Dante Ross? If so, that's a trip. Peace bruh. Your fingerprints are on some of the most classic hip hop in the game. Peace
robrien4 yes it's me and Frankie the few times I met him was so nice I really love this song and his aura. God bless his soulful making this and for being one of the greatest DJays that ever lived!
When I first fell in LOVE with house. Shelter 1992 NYC those were the best times of my dancing days. Bring those days back. Spending mornings at the club and eating granola and yogurt. Love NYC for that. We had a bit everything. We we're just dancers back then. RIP Frankie Knuckles. We Love you brother.
An ode to all the DJ's that get everybody on the dance floor - loner or not - at the end of the night. When it is all about the music - just pure dance joy!
Congrats to Dj Frankie Knuckles, House music lovers all over the world...the birthplace of House music, the former Warehouse Club in Chicago has officially been named a city landmark in Chicago!!! (June 23, 2023) HOUSE MUSIC ALL NIGHT LONG!!!🎉🎶🪩🎊🎆🎵
I was only 16 years young when, luckily, i discovered this, on a dancefloor as well. Nowadays, I listen to this gem and all its glorious house layers, through headphones. Such a timeless house masterpiece is this track, reaching to us now, over 25 years. And still, we whistle.....;)

You all would have loved this man in person.. this brings back so many beautiful memories of bartending in Chicago at that time.. what an amazing time it was.
Used to go skating at various rinks in the NYC area...good times, a time of happier days, 24 years later this is still a fun jammy. Driving fast on the highway, summer breeze on my face & hair at the time NYC was hoppin' ....today...I still kick it up while driving & listening to this though I am bald, older, I still skate, not bad for an OG at 60 yrs of age. Peace 2 ya who remember the way it use to be.
Too many good memories with this song as a kid. I'm only 27 but I remember watching my folks get down to house music and I certainly remember going bonkers when I heard this song as a tike. This song brings me back to the good'ol days when I used to be in the L.E.S and watch my folks and their friends groove to Frankie Knuckles during the summer nights in the street or during the winter in a crowded living room floor.
December 2003! The first time I heard this song. It was a new beginning in my life: better work, new friends and a new love in my life. This song came through the speakers in my new work. At that moment I felt a new happiness, tons of joy, hope. An yes,put a beautiful smile in my mouth. The same I have everytime I hear it!!!!
Nothing compares to house of the 90's I'm a millenial and not a modern house track has the flavour or spice that this artistry beholds. It's timeless and Incredibly unique!!
Uhhh can tell you're a millennial if you think nothing compares to house of the 90s. Go check out Mr Fingers and Fingers Inc and get some history. Even Frankie Knuckles himself would laugh at you.
I remember me and my daddy use to drive around listening to this song when I was little. Daddy whistling and I'm doing the running man in thr car seat. I'm in tears rest in paradise daddy and Frankie Knuckles

This will be played for me as I enter the After Life 🔥 !
I can't think of a better theme song to our exit here and our entrance there.

Just reminiscing: I am Chicago and House Music - proud to say I was a part of that special era and time, such fond memories. We love you always Frankie!!!
Thank you, Godfather of House for your timeless creation ❤️❤️❤️. Gratitude ❤️❤️❤️
My son said that he thought I would like this song. I love this song. He is so right....

Ahhhhh, the memories this song brings, Summer Days back in the early 90s at the block party's
This is absolutely one of my favorite house music songs. I can listen to it over and over. 💙
You all would have loved this man in person.. this brings back so many beautiful memories of bartending in Chicago at that time.. what an amazing time it was.
...23 anni e sembra ieri...e in effetti e' cosi...chiudo gli occhi ed e' come se il tempo non fosse mai passato...ciao Frankie...grazie ancora.
Da ex dj..
Era davvero un grande..
+John923T I feel you on that John

I was 21 and danced with. " House of freedom"...❤
Too many good memories with this song as a kid. I'm only 27 but I remember watching my folks get down to house music and I certainly remember going bonkers when I heard this song as a tike. This song brings me back to the good'ol days when I used to be in the L.E.S and watch my folks and their friends groove to Frankie Knuckles during the summer nights in the street or during the winter in a crowded living room floor.
such a great song, heard it at a coffee shop and was instantly hooked
Dave Fischer Yeah I've heard someone play it before. :)

At that moment I felt a new happiness, tons of joy, hope. An yes,put a beautiful smile in my mouth. The same I have everytime I hear it!!!!

This track always brings tears to my eyes. Such a beautiful record. RIP Frankie. WE MISS YOU.
Life has gotten hard for everyone but music smooth everything those day were so simple let the music lift ur soul wooooooooo love it
Still whistlin'.
I remember me and my daddy use to drive around listening to this song when I was little. Daddy whistling and I'm doing the running man in thr car seat. I'm in tears rest in paradise daddy and Frankie Knuckles
