Love this! My chart ruler, Venus in Aquarius, is in my 5h! Finally accepting my quirky unique way of expressing myself and just started (created!) my own business! Correct, there are certain house system that will make the cusps different. In whole sign, which I use predominantly, it will be the same element and certain other house systems as well. What house system do you like to use?

I just had to smile and comment that my Sun at 13* is in Sag along with Saturn at 16* in my 5th house. I also am a Leo Rising at 4* and Taurus Moon at 29*. I enjoyed this so much, so thank you both.🙂

This lady is incorrect regarding fire being on the asc fire will be on 5th house cusp. Intercepted houses are a feature of other house systems. My preferred house system is Regiomontanus - my Ascendant Is Scorpio 5th house cusp Aries!
I respectfully have a small critique on the subject of whole sign vs placidus house system: if you switch to placidus there is a chance that your 5H sign will not be trine your rising sign. I’m a Capricorn rising and my 5H is in Gemini. Apologies if it’s already been addressed, I haven’t finished the video yet 👍🏻

My ascendant is at 29 degrees, so whenever I switch from whole sign houses, to another house system, literally all of my planets change to the previous house. At first it freaked me out, but then I started to see how both house systems worked for me. I could see how these various planets and signs play out in multiple realms in my life, so it became a both/and scenario. I could see how both were teachers. Now it feels opening and expansive.

I have Capricorn ascendent and Gemini in the 5th. Mars and Sun conjunct In Gemini My houses are intersected. Very large first house Aquarius. Capricorn 26 degree. That whole sign does not work for me
The thing about the same element that rules your rising also rules your 5th is not going to be true for everyone. I have a Libra rising (air) and Pisces 5th house (water). This because I have a late degree rising and interception in my 3rd house.
That is because your chart is cast with an unequal house system, probably placidus. If you run your chart online with whole sign your 5th house will be Taurus and therefore earth element.
Hi Dominica! This happens whenever you use a quadrant house system. If your chart was drawn using Placidus (or Koch, Campanus, etc) that's very common! Sheridan uses Whole Sign houses though, and in that system the 5th house will always be the same element as the Ascendant.
@@AstrologyHubPod yes thanks for reacting, I did post my reaction while I was listening and heard her stating her house-system later on , so in that case yes they both are air-signs, but then of course all the houses are 'off' in my case and thus I really question the whole-house-system because there is a rather big difference between for example 5th house in Aquarius or in Pisces..... and in my case I can totally NOT relate to my 5th being aquarius :D so that settles that other question I had since quite a while about which system to use ;)
I have been going through the series, in each one Amanda states you can get a free rulers guide by going through to Astrologyhub/ruler. I have tried several times and have never found it.
