And if yes,is it better to use a router with openvpn/wiregiard preinstalled like the gl inet or any router compatible would be ok like you showed in the video? Which router (possibly with sim data card) would you raccomand?

Here is my situation I have a IPTV box (MAG254) which will not connect to my internet, I get a Error code 1020. I believe it is because my ISP provider is blocking the IPTV's portal address. My thinking is to connect another router(ASUS RT-N12+ N300 ) with VPN functonalty to my existing router(TP-Link Wireless N Router WR840N model:TL-WR840N) and there by connecting the Mag254 to the VPN.Will my theory work? this is all going to be done wireless.

Is it possible to pick and choose which devices will get the VPN access or is it an all or nothing type of thing? For instance, I only want my Apple TV, Firestick and Windows computer to use the VPN. I do not want my family's Iphones to use it because I have heard there are issues with IMessage and facetime calls when connected to a VPN. Thanks for any help!

Hey! 🙌 If you already have a NordVPN subscription, flashing your router to a DD-WRT might be the only choice, however, keep in mind that there's a risk of permanently damaging your router, therefore you would do it at your own risk.

If that's not the case, the VPN might need to be set up from your ISP control panel. Another way I would suggest is contacting your VPN provider customer support to find out what could be the issue here. 😊
