1. Vrindavan in Uttar Pradesh: Home of the Hare Krishna, fun and divine atmosphere. 2. Udaipur and Jaisalmer in Rajasthan: Beautiful palaces, less crowded than other palace cities. 3. Dharmashala, Kulu-Manali and Shimla in Himachal Pradesh: Mountain towns with plenty of tourist activities. Peaceful and picturesque. 4. Gir National Park Lion Safari and Statue of Unity in Gujarat: The only natural habitat of the Asiatic lion and the tallest statue in the world. Both have great tourist accommodations and activities. 5. Akshardham Temple in Delhi: One of the most beautiful temples in the world. Do not miss it. See it before your flight out.
@@okayaresd Yes it is! Vrindavan is the home of Hare Krishna and the samadhi of Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. It has one of the most active Hare Krishna communities in the world and is known for that in the international community. Banke Bihari installation was done by Swami Haridas around 1400-1500s CE. He was from the Nimbarka Sampradaya. That is also a "movement" among Vaishnava! Nimbarka Sampradaya comes from the Kumar Sampradaya. Hare Krishnas come from the Gaudiya Vaishnava Sampradaya, which in turn comes from the Brahma Sampradaya. And the four original sampradaya of Vaishnava are: Kumar, Brahma, Lakshmi and Rudra. These are the authentic sampradaya. I hope that clarifies it.
@@okayaresd You contradicted your own comment. You said Vrindavan is a home to Banke Bihari, so it's obviously a home to Hare Krishna since Hare Krishna and Banke Bihari are two names of the same God. Lol. You should stop spreading your unnecessary hatred everywhere.
Hello Chante: Hope you have a great first day in India. Enjoy the hospitality. Few tips to travel in India. 1. People will be obsessed with selfie's with all of you so make sure to click photo with whom you only know. Just say thank you if no photo needed. 2. If there is a chance for Bargain while buying any stuffs just bargain it. Make sure don't fall for expensive stuff if the seller is selling it specially street stuffs. check the price online and then only decide to buy or ignore it. 3. Always travel with OLA/Uber or public transport. If you are travelling with TUK TUK check the price first. If it is running on meter then it's ok to travel. Always use google maps to travel. 4. If you are foodie make sure to check hygiene first. For e.g.: Like eating Pani Puri/Bhel etc. It is better to eat in hotel if you are not comfortable with street foods. Generally foreigner visiting India takes time to adjust the spicy food. Let the food seller know who much spicy you want. 5. Make sure to understand people as some would not speak English but they would understand it. Make sure to avoid people who are beggars or people looking for money. You can understand from their dressing sense or talking sense. Everybody wants to earn for leaving. 6. Don't be to much friendly if you don't know anyone. If you know someone close travel with him so that you will understand the surroundings. 7. You will see cows, Buffalo, dogs on the street which is common in India. Also you senses will be tested with different smells which can be good, bad or worst, so be ready for it. 8. There are areas in the city where people do not want to travel so make sure to review before going to such areas. Having friend will be beneficial. 9. You will find see of people and traffic jams so you need to be patience and chill.
