The IS-3 taught me a lot about world of tanks and how much damage is needed to do your part for the team. It always had nice Penetration (probably not so good now, with all the new tanks).

Just do a chat mute, you'll never get better playing against worse ppl nor is it fun for them, you escaped high tiers to avoid better players than you but forced yourself onto worse players that can;t play even lower tiers If they want to advance in the game.

Now algorithm is deciding how good will be in game, and wg still want to get our money out of it. It has an awesome turret, Very good tank for sidescrap . But the gun... oh my god it trolls me so much i hate it . Aiming takes forever and shooting someone from 100m or more is awful . Overal i hate this tank . But maybe because im used to the Gun handling of a Tiger II or Caernevoran. I hope that T10 is better because I want to unlock it .

I just bought a budget gpu and i might go back to War Thunder. THe only reason I came to Wot is because my old GPU stopped working and I had no money to replace at the time. WoT is maybe more fun, more structured because it has these artificial mechanics like spotting and so on that make the game more methodical. War thunder is a free shitshow for at least shells go where you aim them roughly so its harder for Gaijin to rig shit. Leaving performance to chance is fucking stupid and allows developer to do whatever the fuck they want.
I played 2 hours yesterday skill and lost 11 straight while doing over 1k damage in almost every matchup. Then I had 3 straight games of 14-14 which made me want to gouge out my eyes. Of course at the end of the day in 35 battles I had 16 wins. Matchmaking is very bogus lastly where tanks that are equal type and tier are facing tanks with 60% win ratio even regardless of the fool playing them. They have to start taking into account the win ratio on some of these tanks. When a tank has 65% wins (PZ V/IV) you know which way the wind blows. When the opponent has 2X BZ-176 and you have 2X CS-53s as our top tanks you know what is up.
If you do 1k dmg in tier 8 and above its not enough damage that's part of the reason you lose. But there are days when you will lose even doing 5k plus or more dmg

I was so proud back I when I did the grind and earned a IS-3. I was in heavy heaven and then out of nowhere the Defender was introduced in the Premium Shop. I wish I’d learned my lesson and just stopped grinding, but no. I only came back for the Anniversary specials, cooped myself some premium time and when it runs out tomorrow, perhaps I’ll be back for Christmas. I shake my head every time I see a BZ with rockets in its ass; really WG?

Skill your the only CC who ive seen so far who at least mentioned the epic sh*tshow MM. I wont spent a songle € for WoT, but as long as there the dumb mass feeds WG or play autlose matches they never improve MM...
The biggest problem with this part is the tower roof...everyone...really everyone is giving you Hulldown. This weak spot MUST disappear! World of Tanks Blitz did it right and made this weakspot 160mm thick. And the upper hull is also a problem....it's so soft that half of Germany will hammer you through with an air rifle....the upper hull is actually so soft that people will come through the non-angled delta armor if you shoot straight at it an IS or IS-2 with its ridiculous 175 penetration has a 50-75% chance of knocking through. The upper hull definitely needs to be made stronger by 140-170mm and the tower roof weakspot must disappear. And the Alpha could also use a buff from 390 to 440! Mobility can remain as it is. I've taken it out again the last few days and I'm extremely positively surprised at how well it still performs...., the cannon hits its shots well, you rarely need APCR and the turret armor is also a real announcement at level 8. Hardly had it today I had a round where I left the round with less than 2000 damage and I almost only had 8-man only battles or was matched against level 10. The side armor is still extremely good and you can do great reverse sidescraping. Still a great tank that I personally, some will say, find it better than the Object 252U/Defender.
after about a year of abscence i logged in last weekend, activated a booster and one hour later i logged out with a hefty PTSD ... i still like to watch skill play this shit once in a while :D (SC2 is kind of meditation in comparison)

there is more and more faster vehicles in patches. slow tanks are getting faster and nowadays we have a turbocharger and stuff . . . you remember those days when t95 had like 12 km/h top speed? (i think it was 12 or smth like that) but on the other hand it was much harder to deal with (better armor and enemies had worse penetration) also gold ammo ignoring almost all armor and costing only silver is also part of the issue

1 +/- tier MM aswell, but if you are struggling, you are more likely to spam the gold ammo and use premium consummables to try and be competetive- this means more cash for wargaming, and reasons why wargaming doesn't give a toss about fair MM
Oh no, no, no. IS-3. I had 2 years break from WoT, before the break I loved IS-3, after I came back to the game It was pure misery playing with this tank. Gun handling suck, hull armor suck (unless you play against tier 6), no gun depresion and the only good thing about this tank is the turret armor but it's hard to use effectively. Sidescrapping is impossible.
The question is whether you like playing against and with people of your own skill level rather than sometimes getting to farm bots then getting shit on by a good player.

The T-10 is very nice to play through. I suggest you do instead of using your free exp. It’s one of my favorite tanks.
